I'm reviewing the (Targus - Drifter Carrying Case (Backpack) for 16 Notebook, - Black, Gray). I love this backpack. It is well made, durable and water resistant (not water proof). Perfect for city and travel use. Zippers work well. There's more than expected storage space within the backpack. The one thing I had trouble finding is the storage space size of the largest inner space of the bag. No where could I find any dimensions on it's interior space. There are more than enough info on the size of laptops this backpack can hold that gave me the answers I needed. I have a 2009 Mac Book Pro 17" that fits easily into the laptop compartment. I did find reviews that only stated that a lot of text books can be placed inside this bag - which didn't give me the answer I was looking for. I needed a space of about 14" x 14" x 7". After finding very little information on this, I had to take a leap of faith and purchase the bag to see if it has the interior space I was looking for. When I got the bag, I was able to fit a full grocery bag of food - which I want to be able to do.

I bought this for my granddaughter's new laptop and for her other devices as needed. It has several pockets and some large tag, easy zip zippers to quickly load stuff up and zip it securely closed. Has decent padding and a decent price tag so it was the perfect companion to protect her equipment.

This backpack has lots of compartments and pockets. Holds everything I have plus more space is still available. Bottom is flat so backpack stands straight without falling over, unlike my last one. It is also water resistant.

I like this product. It has been durable and easy to keep maintained. Not to mention stylish and overall a really handy travel companion. I know my laptop and other accessories are safe when tucked away in this fine piece.

My son uses this Targus Drifter Carrying Case to carry his laptop and other important things when he travels. This product is definitely durable and will last a long time.

This backpack checks all of my boxes: durable, with plenty of pockets for storage (including zip pockets on each side), PC-friendly, double zips, and roomy. This is excellent for my needs. I strongly recommend it.

Great backpack for the price. Spacious, lots of pockets, material seems rugged, stitching is strong, and it fits and feels comfortable on my back. However, one of the zippers is sporadically sticking but hasn’t gotten permanently stuck-yet. Also, the side pockets can’t fit a 40 oz water flask.

I had been using a $100 Swiss Gear backpack but gave that to my son for school. Those are great backpacks and very durable. This one by Targus has equivalent durability and comfort. Extremely well constructed. I have owned other Targus products and found them to be of utmost quality. I can store a 15" laptop, a 11" mini laptop, and an iPad with keyboard case all in the computer compartment. Plenty of room left over for cords, coffee cup water bottle, mini umbrella, pens, checkbook, gum, headphones, etc. Just enough pockets and slots, without going overboard.

Excellent pack, sturdy and practical with lots of compartments. I expect I'll have this a long time, like the last one I had for almost 10 years.

Excellent backpack for travel to office, very good for packing for work on flights back and forth. Very sturdy and strong and got at a good price.

Too many pockets but I don't mind that. I do forget where I've put my stuff but it's an amazing quality bag.

It’s such a sturdy and well built backpack. I was able to put 2 computers in it and more items with no issues. Just be organized with lots of pockets!

Buy it. Holds a lot. Clothes, laptop, carry-on items, easy travel. Teen son loves it. I want one too.

This is a great Laptop case when travelling since it has many pockets for putting stuff into.
