I got 3 of these on sale for 12.99 each and they are great. I fell in love instantly. i just prchased an hp pavilion and a gateway m-161 both 15.4 inches in the last month for me and my husband and have been buying and returning laptop backpacks since. By buying two new computers and looking for a third i wanted something not too expensive but also durable, and these are them. It has alot of room and has many of pockets for files and folders pockets to hold c.d.'s and batterys plugs everything. it doesn't look bulky like i think most messenger bags do. it has a peice of fabric across the neck aread between the two straps and it seems to distribute the weight evenly making it seem more easier on the back . i like the backpack idea cause no one really knows what is in there u would never think it was a laptop. if you are looking for something of great value and durability this it the product for you.

Probably would not have considered this if it had not been priced at $8.99, but it's a great backpack for the college campus. I have to trek all over campus, and it's nice to have a bag large enough to fit all that day's books (and laptop) in, as well as the hiker's waist-strap to relieve my back of some of the weight of said books. The laptop padding is so-so, but it has kept my laptop cover scratch-free so far, and unless you plan to hurl your bag instead of carrying it, this more than suffices. All the compartments (of which there are many) mean that delicate electronics can be stored separately from your lunch, keys, etc., and the side pockets are within easy reach (for said keys, cards, etc.). Overall, great backpack, a little on the expensive side for the broke college student (unless you catch it on sale).

While the pack is very lightweight, easy to use, and protective of my computer, the downside is that the stylistic elements are somewhat lacking. It is definitely not a fashion statement, but the low-key aspect of the backpack is also a security system in that it looks just like an ordinary backpack. I would definitely recommend it, and I really think that more expensive bags are just a waste. This backpack will definitely live up to anyone's expectations, so long as fashion isn't your number one concern!

I bought this for my Dell Vostro 1320 13" laptop, which has an oversized battery, and it fits perfectly. Plenty of room for the mouse, power cord, headphones, etc. I like it because I can take it places, and nobody really thinks you have a laptop in it, which is nice. People complained about it ripping, etc, but it has a lifetime warranty, so that's not an issue. Can't go wrong for the price, as comparable backpacks were in the $70 range from what I saw at Best Buy. Get one! Can't go wrong...

I purchased this bag for around 10 bucks. It accomodates my 15.4" notebook very well. The front pocket holds my iPod. Pen holders are also useful, since i always forget pens. Separate compartment to keep my Ids, subway tickets and other cards helped me a lot. The cushioning on the straps really makes it carrying very comfortable. Holds good amount of weight. Overall durable, strong and comfortable backpack. Side pocket with zip and bottle holder helps.

I bought this bag when it was on sale for $8.00. It is a good bag. You can tell it isn't a top-of-the-line model though. It does not come with a lot of padding to secure the laptop, but it is a lot better than a saddlebag type that I was using. It is nice to carry around the laptop and have my hands free and not worry about the bag falling off my shoulders. This also comes with a waist strap that is really good for taking the weight off your back and moving it to your waist and legs.

This is an extremely nice backpack. Some people say it's not fashionable enough but it's simply a black backpack--who cares. It is perfect for me to use for college with many textbooks, and to carry along my laptop whenever needed. There are plenty of covenient compartments and it does pretty well resisting rain as well. For the price, you can't beat it.

The backpack has many convenient pockets to store your belongings. Also, it's got plenty of space to carry extra load. The backpack is rainproof and it's got plenty of cushioning to protect your laptop. My only complaint would be the should strap. At first it's uncomfortable because it feels tight. But, after about a week or so, you get used to it.

This laptop bag is one of the best I have owned. I have had it for about two years now, and nothing has broken on it. It holds my 15" IBM Thinkpad perfectly, and has plenty of storage space for textbooks, power adapters, etc. Got it for $10, so it was a steal... if you need a laptop bag that you can use everyday, this is the bag to get.

This bag had so many compartments which is very useful since I like my stuff organized that way. Very comfortable to carry and accommodates a lot of stuff. One can use it as an everyday backpack or as a carry-on for a 2-3 trip. I got it for $1 during a sale along with the use of a gift-card. Couldn't ask for more!

I picked this bag up about 9 months ago and have no complaints about it functionally, pockets hold a lot of things, headphone port for ipod/cd player in outside pocket, waist straps for extra support, holds my 15" macbook pro well. Don't care for the style, but use it because it protects my things well enough and holds everything I need for school.

I bought this backpack two months ago. It's so cheap at that time. I just spent about 9 bucks on this. The quality is good, the function for placing laptop is good, and the price is so good. So if you want to buy a good laptop backpack with low price, pick this one.

You get what you pay for. This is also valid between different Samsonite models. It's definitely better than any other bag but worse than more expensive models of Samsonite. Overall, I am using this bag as an everyday bag. And when I'm not worried about looks, I use the expensive one :)

I can't believe that I am actually leaving a review...this is my first so I am going to make it short and sweet. This backpack is great for the money but I feel like there are way better ones out there about $10 more. I was torn between this and a Swiss one but the reason I picked this one was because it was black and wouldn't show dirt as easily. This bag has plenty of room and sits pretty comfy on my shoulders. All the pockets are useful and I can pretty much fit a Rhino in it! Its a great overall backpack but if your looking for more of a comfy one that doesn't get too hot, look somewhere else! Hope this helps! oh and ps. I hate the fact that the water bottle holder net is so short that every time I put by bag down and pick it up the 20oz water bottle falls out! =/

This is an excellent backpack for notebook computers. If your always on the go and need to bring your work with you, then this is the product for you. This item has heavy duty contruction and plenty of storage space. Highly Recommend!

This bag protects my 15.4in Laptop. It comes in all black. It rests comfortably on my back with the laptop and 2 college textbooks. I have had this since early August. I caught a back to school sale. Easy to use straps.

I have used it for 8 months now and it has been great, slightly constrained in size but other wise good value for money. I have even used it once outside in a storm and everything inside stayed dry. Doesn't get dirty or torn Overall good backpack.

great backpack that fits versatile lifestyle. Traded in the briefcase one for this. I can fit more things I need in this and can carry for hours without even thinking about it. Good shoulder padding also.

For 10 bucks come on, it's awesome. It's really a lot bigger than I expected as well. For the price, I expected a smaller bag and was actually looking for one that was smaller but that's ok, more for my money is just fine for me.

This product is very good for the price that I got it. It is large and has got lot of interior space. Padding could be better. But on the whole a good backpack. Feels lighter than what it actually weighs.Highly recommended!!!
