This could mean that your model of Chromebook does not support USI compliance. You can check this be contacting your manufacturer, looking in the settings of your Chromebook for Stylus tools, or you may be able to find out by looking at sites like this https://www.chromium.org/chromium-os/usi-enabled-devices/ . Have had no issues with it so far and I like that you can replace the battery. It also comes with a replacement pen tip which is nice as well.

Posted .After an extended idle period you may need to tap the top of the stylus once or twice. Please also be sure that the Chromebook you are using it with is USI compatible or the stylus will not work. Some Chromebooks that are USI may need you to activate it on the computer. Not For All HP Chromebooks..

The pen is USI able but it will not work on this laptop. What a shame. Therr is no light, button, or indicator on the oen to tell you its on and working either. Dont Buy This! Purchases the HP brand pen or buy one from amazon that states it works with your model.

Posted .When you called HP about this did they inform you if your HP Chromebook was USI compliant or not. The Active Stylus will work with Chromebooks that are USI compliant. If you are not sure, there is a way that you may be able to tell. Try going into your settings, once there look for Stylus tools. If it is there check to make sure that it has been activated. If it is not there then the Chromebook is most likely not USI compliant. If you have any questions please reach out to our customer support team at 877-482-7487 Monday thru Friday 10 Am to 7 PM EST.

There are some Chromebooks that are not USI compliant, which is what is needed for the Active Stylus to work with it. If your Chromebook is USI compliant you may need to activate it. To do this go into your settings and look for Stylus Tools. From there you will be able to activate it. Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.doesn't come with anything to help you set up if set up is needed. way too pricey since it doesn't tell you which Chromebooks it's compatible with because it's clearly not compatible with all of them unless I am wrong. I WILL be returning this item, and I'm not happy with it. very upset that youtube or google couldn't even help set it up. I would not tell anyone to get the stylus, as I had no luck with it, very poor way of getting people to buy a stylus for Chromebook laptops by saying it's compatible but not telling you which ones. as an artist it is very hard to find a good stylus that will work for my dell chromebook (which did come with a stylus but it stopped working over the years and I no longer have due to losing it in my move)
