I love that there are four USB sockets on the back. My only problem with it is the fan noise upon connecting the pad to a laptop. It only occurs occasionally.

My HP gets HOT! I have 2 fans in addition to this on my laptop. If you have a regular laptop get this. If you have a laptop that gets really hot and you're worried about it, get something more expensive.

I have not had any issues and the extra USB hubs help with any attachments that I have to make, like my CAC card reader and iPhone cable.

Have bought 2 so far. One for my laptop and one for my wife's laptop. I feel every laptop owner should own one.
