It is maybe worth $15-$20 max. I have purchased far superior, metal adjustablecoolers with lcd screens and usb 3.0+ ports for less money than this. The plastic mechanism that holds the pad up feels cheep, like it might slip at any time.

The only downside is that it needs to stay in a slightly tilted position to obtain the best airflow. But once you get used to that position it works just fine. My laptop motor is very cool at all times.

Battery consumption is a downside, but its performance makes me forget about the battery situation, I don't use it on the go.
