a decent cooling system the apparatus is a bit flemsy.

I use my laptop like a desktop computer, so it spends most of the time on the chill mat. I like having the USB terminals in one location. But, the cooling fans are a little louder than I my old 'fan only' unit. I also like the fact that the whole computer fits on the chill mat (as opposed to the old one that just fit under part of the laptop. But, it is made entirely of plastic, so I would not expect it to take a lot of use. Still, the price was right. So, all-in-all I would recommend this to a friend.

I use it when I am on my computer a lot . It keeps my computer cool but it runs off of the computers battery and it is kind of flimsy.

I like it, especially the adjustable angle and the hub. My only "wish" is that I could turn off the fan and still use the hub. The only way to turn off the fan is to unplug it.

I like the angle of the board the extra ports and keeps laptop nice and cool you can hear the fans but not a problem at all.

Decent stand that gives the user four additional USB ports. Unfortunately the power cable to expand the USB ports is an additional cost to buy separately from unit itself. The plastic is a little tacky and could be more elegant to look at but it does the job. Also the front lip of the stand is rounded and with my MacBook which is aluminum and rounded it does not grip as well as I’d wish it did.

It keeps the laptop cool. The adjustable height only really works on a flat surface. The extra USB ports are a nice feature. Sometimes it can be noisey at startup.

While all computers have a fan sometimes it still runs hot. This chill pad will help solve the problem. It's nice because it can be angled and has USB ports. While they manufacture a smaller version this model can be used with a 17 inch computer, very handy for those individuals that have a larger computer.

I invested in this as an additional level of protection for my MacBook Pro. It’s quiet and offers additional USB ports (if you need them.

Provides extra USB ports for equipment and flash drives. Also provides cooler for PC. Main reason for buying was to lift laptop screen to help posture.

If you are looking for a fantastic cooling aide for your laptop ,look no further than this. I have had a few in the past ,most did what they said, but ended up more of an inconvenience than just a cooling aide. This one helps by having inputs for USB's in the perfect places, allows you to elevate your laptop and angle it in just the correct one right for your preference. so it helps more than just to assist in cool down.

Fabulous addition to my home office desk. I work remotely and the fan keeps my laptop cool. It elevates it as well so it aligns with my other monitors. I highly recommend it.

I have always used cooling pads for laptop use. This one not only allows to change orientation to reduce carpal tunnel strain but also has additional usb ports for ancillary devices.

The only reason it isn’t a five star is that the sound of the fan can be slightly annoying. But the function works. Running bench marks it showed a huge difference in temp with the fan and on top of a cool surface. A must buy for anyone with a gaming laptop.

Love the charging ports! When we first purchased it, it wasn’t working so well, then we discovered a big piece of foam in it that was preventing the cooling. Once it was removed it worked much better. Also love the angle. It makes my computer work much easier.

I got this for my 2022 Asus Zephyrus G14. That laptop is known to get around 90c when gaming in performance mode. Putting this cooler underneath, elevating it slightly, I got thermals down to 78c - 82c when gaming. Love it. Its loud, but i use headphones.

The Targus Chill Mat+ Laptop Cooling System with 4-Port USB Hub is an excellent product. It is much better than other inexpensive laptop computer stands that are too light weight and do not hold the computer securely, with the risk that it will fall and be damaged. These same cheap stands do not have their own cooling device, requiring the purchase of a separate fan unit. All the fans that I have tried are awkward to use with the separate stand and are often very noisy. The Targus unit holds the computer securely with no slipping and a convenient right adjustment feature. The cooling fan is whisper quiet, no matter how long it id in operation. Hooray for the Chill Mat+, I now own three of them!

Feels a little flimsy because it is all plastic. I have to be careful how hard I press on it but the USB ports are awesome.

It’s very plastic and is noisy, but does what it should - keeps my laptop cool. I think it could be built better in metal, but it works.

This Chill Mat is one of those items that you buy for one particular use and it winds up just doing so much more. Aside from keeping my connections nice and neat and keeping my laptop cool; this mat is just great for adjusting the angle of my laptop for a more comfortable typing experience.
