It worked fine until the cable broke when I tried to unplug it. The mat itself works amazingly. Plenty of airflow, height is fine, and keeps my laptop nice and cool. Also, no one uses this kind of cable anymore, can't upgrade to at least micro-USB? At least people still have that cable so they can easily replace if needed.

The Targus dual fan chill mat is a great invention. Since covid, my laptop has ran nonstop, often giving off tons of heat. I love the design but i feel it could be a bit bigger. So far its worked out great!

for some reason i was recommended by best buy this absolutely worthless cooling pad for my PC. its basically ruined it making temperatures hotter and shooting dust into my vents. please do better

As the title says, don't expect this to cool your laptop while gaming. The cooling pad hardly blows any air and won't make a degree cooler. The only good thing it does is raise your laptop higher so that it can gain more air from the holes the product has, and honestly, you should just invest in something that raises your laptop so that it can have more of a gap to breathe in air.

Worked alright until the cord to the fan broke off and stuck in the port

Average laptop cooler. not very loud and only one speed.

Not very useful. I bought it for my 15.6 inch MSI delta gaming laptop and the laptop sticks out on both sides. Like others have said, this is a somewhat loud fan and didn't really improve the heat of my laptop. Not worth the price even with a $5 best buy gift certificate.

Cheap and the fan is a lil loud but ok for the price

Even though it says it will work for laptops upto 17in, it barely fits my Dell G16 and the bottom of my brand-new $1500.00 laptop looks like I used sandpaper on it. I would not use this for anything over 14"

Junk absolute rubbish. Marks the third attempt to get a Laptop cooler at Best Buy and all three sound like freight trains as background music. Terrible products.

Pros: Laptop cooler is quiet, lightweight, durable, and has nice design. It is able to fit 15 inch or smaller laptop nicely. It is composed of black plastic shell. two fans and a plug in usb cable. You can place the laptop cooler on you lap, if you desire. The cooler has four fixed feet that elevate the base by 1/4 of an inch allowing air to flow from the bottom of the cooler through the fans and grill to the bottom of the laptop. There is an ample amount of air flowing from the cooling pad, to cool your laptop, air from the cooler up to the bottom of the laptop's ventalation. The cooling pad air blows upwards. The cooler is small and light enough to travel with L13 1/4" X W 9 1/2".X H 1" It is affordable. I got mine on sale. Cons The usb cable is short at 18 inches. It has no on/off switch and no indicator light. The two fans are fixed. You cannot re postion the fans to align to the vents under the laptop. The fan speed is not adjustable. There is no place to store the cable in the cooler base. There is no storage bag to carry the cooler. Height is not adjustable and unable to change the angle of the cooler.

This cooling-fan mat works pretty well for my laptop. It’s lightweight, compact, and quiet. I have to position my laptop a little bit off-center so that one of the dual fans (cold spots) can cool the hottest spot (rear center - laptop battery). I could get a cooling mat with more fans, but this works for the price.
