It fits nicely under my lap top and I do not need to worry my lap top to over heat no matter how long it is in use,

Since soon after the start of the pandemic, I've been using an external camera (Sony ZV-1) for videoconferencing on my home computer. Over the last few months, the camera had been overheating rapidly. I now set the camera on a small tripod on top of this mat - and problem solved - no overheating with 2-3 hours of camera use. The fan is very quiet and is not audible by other people on the videoconference.

Does what it’s supposed to. Not as powerful as I was hoping but still helps to cool down my laptop some. Would recommend but would check out other offers first. This wasn’t my first choice but the others were sold out. Better than nothing for the price range, but not the best for the price range.

This mat did what it was supposed to do - provide additional cooling to an older laptop. The laptop had been shutting down abruptly and regularly with it's cooling fan running flat out. With this mat that laptop almost never shuts down now. Only downside is the fan noise from the mat; it's not obtrusive, doesn't get in the way of conversation or anything, but the fan noise is noticeable. Well worth the money.

For the money, this is a great deal. Moves enough air to actually cool the laptop, very low noise, perfect for use on a desk. Can be used in your lap but not real comfortable.

Wanted to help protect my laptop from any chance of overheating and found this does the job and doesn't take up any additional space on my desk.

Very easy to use. I use this with my new laptop and it is always perfectly cool. A little loud at times but not very noticeable.

I use an engineering laptop that gets very hot while running some CPU-intensive software. I had and older version to use with my personal laptop, and picked this one up hoping it'd work here too. It may be a little loud as reported by other reviewers, but I no longer feel like I could cook bacon on my keyboard!

I put this under my lap top computer. the usb plug suits me fine and the mat keeps my laptip cool during loads

Very easy to use. Plug it into a USB port and it powers on! Can be a bit loud at times but I use this for my gaming laptop while streaming or playing heavy processing games. Definitely a required purchase if you use a gaming laptop. Just wish it was a bit quieter.

Love it, works great. Its light enough & keeps my laptop cooler than before.

I bought this fan because the internal fan on my old laptop stopped working and so the laptop was overheating shutting itself down. We didn't want to replace the fan, but needed to get a few more years out of this laptop. The external fan did the trick. While it is thicker than i would have preferred, it works easily and quietly. I would buy it again and would recommend it to others.

Light and efficient. Easy to use, but a bit slippery on the top, where the laptop will rest.

Out of the laptop fans I have used, this is the best one I have used by far. Though my experiences in fans haven't been have much, (3) this is the one that I believe to be the best at cooling my laptop down. Because it has holes throughout the top of the platform it can spread the wind all through out the bottom of the laptop instead of other fans than only have openings at the location where the fan is placed. I find that those fans just cool that area and no where else. So I would highly recommend this to others. Works fine and nicely, the only thing you would have to deal with is the slight noise it makes, but don't all fans do that? Lmbo

Love the cooling fan for my laptop. It works great and keeps everything really cool - I never have to worry about it overheating anymore and it was reasonably priced.

I bought this to cool my laptop, but ended up just placing it next to my gaming rig to keep the gpu cooler for now. Seems to be pretty decent for what it is. I think it would be better if there were four fans and if you had the ability to mod the speeds.

This bad boy does move some air. Not 100% sure it helps cooling- but my laptop already runs extremely hot as it is.

I've purchased 3 of these in the past few years to use them on my aging laptops. The money spent on these Chill Mats is well worth the money considering how it extends the life of an aging laptop. Without these Mats, I don't think I'd be able to own a half dozen laptops (Win 7, Win 8 and Win 10) over the past several years. Yes, I keep my old laptops because I can get plenty of work out of them.

Chill is a good word, this mat does not move a ton of air, but it does a decent job of keeping temps lower. I have it raised up off of the surface and it does a better job. It does a decent job for the price.

It moves air. It's a bit noisy and it uses the old usb mini connection but it's doing what I need it to do, keep my laptop cool.
