This product is excellent in keeping your laptop cool. The rubber grips helps keep your laptop from sliding off. The fan noise is mostly silent. Very comfortable when putting it on your lap that you never feel the heat from the laptop. Only minor complaint is that the cooling mat doesn't have extra USB ports built in to plug in your other devices when using it. So if your laptop doesn't have many USB ports, you may need to unplug one slot for the chill mat.

This thing works, which is about what can you want from a laptop cooling fan. It's pretty quiet overall and really has done a great job cooling my gaming laptop. I used to have to stop playing as my laptop got so hot it would almost burn me, but now it stays cool enough to keep using as long as I want.

I purchased this cooling pad for the MSI Crosshair and it seems like a perfect fit. It's very comfortable on my lap. So far it works great and runs quietly.

Purchased an HP Envy laptop with SS 512 hard drive—needed a good cooling pad to avoid overheating issues.. picked up one of the better ones..the pad’s fan is ultra quiet and the cooling fan is the right weight and size for my 15 inch laptop,,

Great fan. It keeps my laptop cool enough to stream games. Its quiet. Mic doesnt pic up any noise from it. It shuts off when i shut my laptop down. Its super light as well. Overall, am very happy with my purchase.

Great cooling mat for my laptop. Works gret and the pruce was right.

The Targus works fairly well, but the fans are not as strong as my last laptop cooling mat. I have had it for a while now and it starts out loud and then turns quiet. I do like that it is lighter and less cumbersome than the other pad I had. It does the job, but is not great.

I've looked at these before but this was my first purchase. The Lenovo Yoga heats up a bit so this is perfect. Very comfortable on my lap. Lightweight. And quiet. I've only had it a few weeks so hopefully it's made for the long-run. Love it!

My first impression was the quality of the product, how nice it felt, how durable it looked and felt , when I tried another 17 inch notebook in store on it, it fit nicely , when I tried a ultra wide notebook (17inch), it was a little small, but still fit and held the notebook. leg's of notebook were hanging off slightly and obviously the sides of notebook were hanging off. It worked great, was nice, I love the hideaway USB, its quiet when you use fans, ( I only used once to test), its dissipating heat nicely , I highly recommend this.!!! great company, I have purchased several cooling pads over the years by this company and I highly recommend them, a cooling pad is a MUST this day and age with any notebook. They aren't laptops, they don't belong directly on your lap, with this cooling pad, its perfect, safe and sturdy

A little noisy but does a great job keeping my computer cool and doesn't over power the microphone noise wise so that it isn't heard over conference calls. I would've gotten a bigger one of available due to my computer being a 17 inch laptop.

Provides more airflow (of course), but doesn't cool as much as I'd like. The fans don't feel very powerful but it's quiet and has a nice width that is perfect for couch gaming. I think it's most effective at making sure the vents at the bottom get air, which makes a difference but other than that I feel like it could be more cooling. My advanced fans on my MSI (not cooler boost) push more air out than this, but it gets the job done.

Adhesive pads could be better, and the fans are pretty much useless especially with the venting design, otherwise it's a great little lap pad!

I own an MSI Stealth gaming laptop, which is a pretty nice machine, but the fans in it - wow! They are loud...like jet engine loud. Punk guitarists couldn't stand this kind of loud. So what to do? Get an external fan. This device has worked really well for me. I've run Elder Scrolls Online on a 4K 28" monitor and the laptop got warm. Fans kick in, yes, but not as badly as they could. As a bonus, I have tried this mat while sitting in a chair, and I liked it. Having the cooler surface against my skin was more comfortable. One suggestion - my laptop does not turn off power to the USB ports when I turn the computer itself off. That means the mat runs all night unless I remember to unplug it. If this is your problem as well, try to find a port that turns off. I had to put it on a USB-C hub before it would turn off reliably.

Good base stays firm but its fan power is not very high, although it keeps the equipment cool during demanding moments.

I purchased this cooling unit for my older work laptop. It (the laptop) runs hot and the internal fan is loud and is always running. As soon as I plugged in the cooling unit, I had concerns about the amount of airflow myself, but proceeded to try ot out and see if it truley works and it does. Things to remember: this product provides additional cooling air via a push pull process. This unit works well for laptops that pull colling air from undernieth and exhaust the hot air from the top or side(s). It helps with, 1 blowing additional cool into the bottom vents so that the internal laptop fan dosnt have to work as hard. 2. It help force (pushes) additional cooled air into the laptop fan which "pulls" that extra air into the laptop allowing it to work more efficently. I also recommend not pluggin in the cooling unit into the USB port on the laptop itself. Extra current draw may add to the power supplies heat generation. I plugged my unit into a USB adapter which is the plugged into a desk lamp, with a power socket The only complaint is about how long the USB cord is. The manufacturer could have made the cord longer just in case people wanted to power the until off of a USB block plugged into a wall socket or power strip located behind or under a desk.

This does it's intended job well. It provides a stable platform for my laptop and keeps the laptop off of the bed. It provides adequate cooling, is unobtrusively quiet, and be keeping the laptop off of the bed surface, helps keep it cool.

This cooling pad does a very good job keeping my high-performance laptop cool even when the fan is at high speed for long periods of time. It’s comfortable and doesn’t get in the way when sitting on your lap. I have a 17” laptop and it works great with this device.

i got this on sale and because i needed something to lift up my laptop a little bit but it actually does cool my laptop a bit which is nice cuz it was getting pretty hot, it looks like it should fit most laptops and its nice to have my laptop raised a little bit, feels better

We bought this cooling fan for our kids laptop. It is the perfect size and is not heavy or loud. The only issue is the USB cord is not long enough.

This Targus mat is really good. I am knocking 1 star off because it doesn't have that high quality feel to it. Nevertheless it works excellent with my MSI Leopard Laptop. I was even able to obtain Legend status using this when benchmarking my laptop in 3dMark. Despite me knocking 1 star, this does the job very well in keeping my extremely large 17 inch 3070 laptop tdp 140w variant cool. I can run it on extreme and there is little issue with the temps.
