i got this on sale and because i needed something to lift up my laptop a little bit but it actually does cool my laptop a bit which is nice cuz it was getting pretty hot, it looks like it should fit most laptops and its nice to have my laptop raised a little bit, feels better

This chill mat works well with the large Asus 17 inch screen laptop I am using. It is very quiet and keeps the gaming pc cool. the only dislike I have for the cooling mat is the cord connection, it exits the cooling mat from the underside in the rear center of the mat, which is cumbersome for my connection to either side of the laptop where the USB ports are located.

This is the perfect size for my laptop, works very well for keeping it cooler. I just wish it lasted a little longer. This is replacing the last one that went out after 2 1/2 years.

Perfect size for traveling. I use it with my gaming laptop and it keeps my lap from getting hot. Very light but sturdy.

It's an inexpensive cooler that is quiet enough that it doesn't add to the sound of my gaming laptop. It did what I wanted, which was to add an air gap between the desk surface and my laptop. The fan helps keep that air gap cool and the tacky strip keeps the laptop securely in place.

The thing I like the most about this product is the cushion, it is so comfortable and soft on the bottom when I put it on my lap while cooling the laptop. For $39.99 it definitely worth it. When I plug it in with my laptop, it doesn't make loud noises so that's another bonus. And the for the cooling process, this product does its job very well.

I purchased this cooling pad because of price. I have had other cooling pads that have been more expensive and loud while they were on. This one is very quiet and very comfortable. Love it and would recommend this product to anyone that has had trouble with loud cooling pads.

Very happy with this purchase, keeps my son's gaming laptop from getting too hot. Extremely quiet, very comfortable. Draws power from the laptop so no batteries or additional power cord to mess with. A great investment in comfort and performance, for very little money.

Light in weight, dual fans keep laptop cool, able to move around without any awkwardness. Ordered two (2) by mistake...gave extra one to my granddaughter--her first time using one and she loves it!

I have purchased other cooling mats but this one is by far the best for me. Easy to use and cost was the right price for the value. This dual fan lap chill mat cooling system was what I needed and can't say any more about this product except I am glad I made this purchase and I didn't need to pay too much for it either. Highly recommend this cooling chill mat as it hooks directly into my laptop. Can also be used if a person likes to be on their computer while relaxing in a comfortable chair or in bed before going to sleep.

Works very well on a desk, I have not tried the lap but overall keep the heat from the laptop off of the surface and is easy to haul around. Very light weight and simple design makes it very easy to use.

I really wanted to like the Targus Dual Fan Lap Chill Mat because on paper it sounded like exactly what I needed—lightweight, portable cooling that would make using my laptop on the couch or in bed a lot more comfortable. Unfortunately, it just didn’t live up to expectations, and I ended up returning it. The main issue was the fans. They simply weren’t powerful enough to make any meaningful difference in temperature. Even after running it for a while, I couldn’t feel the kind of airflow that would actually cool the underside of my laptop. On top of that, the fans were louder than I expected. Instead of a soft background hum, it had a noticeable whirring sound that became distracting pretty quickly. For a device meant to make laptop use more comfortable, added noise is the last thing you want—especially if you’re working, watching videos, or trying to relax. I don’t mind a cooling pad making some noise if it’s powerful, but this one had the noise without the cooling performance to match. The build itself is okay—lightweight, stable enough on your lap, and the angle is comfortable—but those positives just didn’t outweigh the core problem. Cooling pads live or die by fan performance, and this one didn’t deliver. I had high hopes for it because Targus usually makes reliable accessories, and the price point made it seem like a solid value. That’s part of why the experience felt disappointing. It wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t helpful either, which makes it hard to justify keeping. If you're looking for substantial cooling or quieter operation, this model may not be the right fit. It might work for someone with a low-heat laptop or very light usage, but for anything more demanding, there are better, more effective cooling mats out there.

Not too big. It was a good price and it does a nice job of keeping the computer cool.

Works great, Powers on as soon as you plug in the usb, Only slight issue I have it seems that the left fan is stronger than tbe right fan. Other than that I am happy with it.

This kept my laptop and thus my lap cool. It's quiet and light. Just right for the problem.

My computer would overheat and slow down. This has been a dream. It perches it up to a comfortable height when working. It works well for my computer even though it is a 17" computer and is heftier than most computers. (It does have a cord to attach to the computer via USB. I thought it had a battery or charging option, but it uses the computer battery.) Also, I barely notice the sound of the fan.

I DON’T recommend this product. Honestly it feels very cheaply made. The fans are sub par and can barely even keep cool my brand new 16” apple mac. After reading the advertorial I was honestly expecting a much better product however and unfortunately thats not the case. This is a cheaply made and very poorly functioning laptop cooler. If you want a product that feels durable and actually works DON’T buy this one, buy a different product. I also don’t like the fact that it doesn’t come with an adapter or cord to plug it into an outlet either AC or DC. It only comes with a small and when I say small I mean TINY like 6-8” long power cord with a usb connection at the end. Leaving you with very few options to power the unit. Yes I get the designers thoughts the buyer would just plug it into their laptop to power the unit, however what about all the buyers that don’t want to do that or that don’t have a usb connection on their laptop?, you’ve left them with very little to no options. This unit should come with 1. A longer power cable 2. Adapters or something so it can be powered other than the usb connection or plugging into the laptop its trying to cool. And yes I now you’ll say you can buy an adapter and yes you can but this should some with it already not stuff you have to buy additional on the side. So conclusion I wouldn’t recommend this and wouldn’t buy this product ever again. Look for a better quality and better option out there, there’s tons of better options.

It produces a good amount of air, but I haven't used it in hot conditions to see how good it works. For the price it seems to do you the job well enough. Only issue is the cord is short and the cord storage area makes that issue worse.
