It doesn't move a lot of air, but it's enough to keep it cool under normal use. If you're a power user or gamer, you might want to consider something else. The fan does occasionally make noise but it usually quits if I shift it just a little on my lap. The biggest issue I have is the usb plug is on a really short cord and will only reach one of the ports. It's also a rather thin cord, so I don't know yet how well it will hold up long term, but after a month's use, everything is fine.

Would be better if you could power it with a separate power source, the fans are quite slow as well. Made my laptop run hotter actually. Used it on a 2025 G14 ROG Zephyrus gaming laptop.

Wonderful for a first time buyer

It was a good size and would work on a table, or on my lap if I use my laptop in bed. The rubber slip guards hold the computer in place. Once the mat is plugged in the air starts to circulate, and keeps the machine and legs cool.This is nice for home use, of for students, dorms, etc. I would not use it at work. Yes, I would recommend to other people.

I was trying to use it as a stopgap measure for my new gaming laptop until I got a better one but the fan is so weak it actually made the internals hotter when it was plugged in. Could be good for a much lower end computer if all you’re doing is basic things. It does have a felt pad on the bottom so it should be pretty comfortable for a lap pad. Pretty mid, but probably my fault. Don’t buy a low end product for a high end job
