I have been wanting a chill mat for some time.After looking at the variety offered, I chose Targus - Dual Fan Lap Chill Mat Cooling System. It was a good size and would work on a table, or on my lap if I use my laptop in bed. The rubber slip guards hold the computer in place. Once the mat is plugged in the air starts to circulate, and keeps the machine and legs cool.This is nice for home use, of for students, dorms, etc. I would not use it at work. Yes, I would recommend to other people.

I was a little skeptical about this item but have been pleasantly surprised. The fans help keep my gaming laptop cool during extended sessions and the padding underneath is very comfortable to lap use.

Works well to keep your lap cool. Added internal fans do help a little to disperse heat and they run as soon as you plug the USB in. The plastic feels a little thin like it could crack easily if dropped or stepped on accidentally, but overall a good product. Would recommend.

Quiet fan, perfect size, laptop stays in place, does a good job cooling, easy to use.

It fits nicely under the laptop and is not bulky like previous ones I have tried. Also very quiet operating it doesn't sound like and engine running when you are trying to concentrate on a task.

The Targus - Dual Fan Lap Chill Mat Cooling System does a good job of keeping my laptop cool. The dual fan runs quietly and so does my laptop computer so it works for me.

This is a nice comfortable lap cooking mat. Keeps my laptop cool and it’s quiet.

I am using it for a MacBook Pro 17" laptop. It fits just right and is super quite. The Mac generates a lot of heat after about an hour of video. With this unit it cools somewhat . But only using my hand as a gauge I don't know if it cools down 10 degrees or more. It does work but not as much as I would like it to. I suppose if it cooled more it would be louder. All in all it fits good is very quite and does cool. One more thing the cord is about 15" long not counting the plug. It works for this Mac but other computers might have a tight fit.

I received this product as a gift when I purchased a new lap top a few weeks B4 my birthday. I purchased this same lap top cooler for my everyday computer. So they knew I loved this cooler fan as we all know electronics and heat = death for electronic product. I've been most pleased with this model of cooler and is a bargain for the price asked from Best Buy. I've seen it much more expensive in other stores. THIS IS A GREAT DEAL!!!!

I bought their older version of this product about 3 years ago. I'm hoping this one lasts much longer. The plastic coating of the cables started to be cut away by the harder plastic of the usb connecter. This one is quite a bit smaller, which is also nice. And another added bonus is that the fan is much quieter. So far, I'm very pleased with this product.

Works as intended. Doesn’t move as much air as I thought it would, but does keep the bottom of the laptop cooler.

Had it for 2 months and it's been working fine. I use my netbook a lot. I watch movies and browse the web for hours. My netbook has not overheated. The mat is very quiet as well.

This cooling mat does exactly what I need it to do. it is light weight, and my laptop fits on top of it without any hanging over the side. The price was decent too.

So far so good! It's my first laptop cooling system so I don't have anything to compare it too. The fan in my laptop stopped working and although the part is cheap the labor it will cost to have it replaced is above my current means. When I saw this product I was immediately drawn to the possibility that it might work until I can afford to have the fan replaced. So far so good! It does just what's its supposed to do. My only wish is that the fan blew forced air at a higher speed.

Fans aren’t that strong, but it definitely helps keep your lap cool and comfortable.

A must if you are using a laptop. Keeps the temperature down so you are not having heat issues. If you don't have one, this is a great one to get! It fits under my monitor stand with the LapTop

I would recommend this product to anyone who needs a lap chill Mat while using the laptop for house. It was the best investment I made where I got have to worry about my laptop slowing down while being on the laptop.
