I've owned A LOT of laptop bags and backpacks over the years. This one is by far the best of the field. Recently purchased to replace one with a broken zipper and took it with me to Europe a week later. Performed well, though fair warning, it does stick out a bit, while wearing it, but getting it under a plane seat in coach is not a problem. I travel a lot for work anyway, so this was a major concern, Other advantages: TSA compliant (unzips all the way to lay laptop out separately), though I use it as a pocket for a second laptop or my tablet, depending on my needs. Holds a large laptop (Dell Precision workstation) better than any other I've had with plenty of room - easily holds a 17" laptop. Best Feature: There is a dedicated power brick/accessory pocket in the bottom! That sold it. Second best feature: no matter how much is in it, the bag stands up on its own! The middle book pocket has slots for pens, cards, etc, a key leash, and a zippered mesh pocket, presumably so the hamster won't suffocate. The chamber can be expanded if necessary (but takes away the accessory pocket below it) however, I've not needed to do that. Upper lined pocket for glasses, and stuff, large front pocket for other bulky stuff - just more useful space. Highly recommended.

The Targus Laptop backpack is very nice. It is sleek and comfortable yet durable. It could offer more padding but it is durable and has alot of storage for power cords, personal belongings, etc.

Sturdy and with well designed compartments for both the casual user and the professional. Highly recommended.

This bag is sure to meet your needs if you’re buying it to protect your laptop and even more to save your shoulders with the built in pads. My last Targus bag I had lasted almost 10 years.

Got this because of the good reviews. Lots of storage for tech gear and the side pocket for a water bottle is nice. Everything is padded so you don’t have to worry about damage.

The bag is very durable and fits a decent size laptop. Wouldn't fit my rog752 but it's huge.

The compartments in this bag are different than in other typical bags. Takes some getting used to but very practical and very comfortable.

This bag is just what i was looking for. No problems going through TSA checkpoints and plenty of room. If I'm going out of town for just a day or two I don't usually even need to bring another bag on my flight. I feel like the storage compartment for my laptop is extremely insulated which gives me a great sense of comfort when traveling.

This bag has more than enough room for your laptop, notebook, and all the accessories / cords you need. It fits comfortably on my back and keeps the contents inside safe. I have my 15" MacBook Pro, iPad 2, digital camera, and all of their chargers and adapters stored inside. The bag isn't even half full with all the contents listed. I love this bag.

My wife was looking for a bag that would hold her 15” ROG laptop but be useful for travel as well. This bag is great for both.

This backpack has everything I was looking for in a bag, without breaking the bank. #1 on my list was a bag that had plenty of padding for my laptop, which this does. The front and back are very well padded, and there's a "sling" of sorts at the bottom that prevents the laptop from slamming into the bottom of the bag if dropped straight down. Plenty of storage area for my gadgets (multimeter, VDV tester, mouse, chargers) and enough room left over for a weekends worth of clothes. I did have an opportunity to use the "TSA Approved" feature for my laptop. I was thinking I just unzip the laptop portion and fold it open, but there's one extra step; move the laptop from it's travel spot to the TSA part that folds completely open. More than I expected, but it still made the process really very easy compared to moving everything to a bin. I would buy another if I needed.

Love the different storage options this bag offers. Very versatile and hold many different types of tech items.
