This backpack is very large and has ample storage for a 16 inch laptop and power cord. It is well made and had extra compartments for other accessories and material.

The Targus- Octave III is very well built. I'm impressed with the quality of the heavy-duty, canvas-like material, nice seams, and stitching throughout. The zippers are nylon, which is my personal preference; their quieter, smoother, and will be just fine as long as you don't severely damage them. I got the color shown here to my right, the color is Papyrus, the interior liner is light blue, looks great. The one thing I do not like is that at the bottom of the backpack, there isn't any foam padding or whatever. This is a serious oversight, due to the fact that this is designed to carry your laptop inside. Therefore, I took off 1-1/2 stars because of this issue. Other than that, it's a very good-looking, minimalistic unit. I'm going to add a piece of 1" foam from a hobby store, cut it to size, and place it in there, at the bottom. Yes, I would recommend this Targus- Octave III laptop backpack for student, or anyone else.

This is my second backpack, and it's truly excellent. It has plenty of room for your belongings and is good quality. The style is cute and it's well-made.

Roomy. The straps are well padded. Its small. Perfect for a basic black backpack look. The bag looks cheaper but feels of wuality tbh. The zippers are all made well and the laptop area is well padded and feels safe. Good bag!

Nice backpack. Good size and comfortable. Lots of pockets for everything. My concern is the lack of cushion to protect the computer inside in case of a fall, or the absence of ways to tie it in in place when moving.

I purchased this on sale at a significant discount making it an excellent value. The quality is good and a perfect fit for laptops 15.6 in and smaller. There could be better padding but that's a small complaint.

I bought multiple of backpack for my son and niece. They love the colors( blue , white ), backpacks plenty rooms, is perfect for middle schoolers, the trap comfortable to wear. It’s been used for 2years little bit dirty but they don’t want get new backpack instead get same one.

Bought this backpack for work. Its perfect for holding my laptop and daily needs for work. Even holds my lunch box. Its also cushinoned well for my laptop and feels good on the shoulders.
