The pic motor blew when plugged in. My in-laws experienced the same problem with a different converter product, so it is not the converter. We purchased a battery powered H2o flos. The converter plug powered battery charger just fine. Apparently the water pic motor is very sensitive to anything but a USA standard plug.

Because the one I have is only good for those few European countries, I went with this multi-use one so I would have more flexibility in the future. This adapter works exactly as advertised. The only downsides I saw were that it's a little bulky (the price you pay for the convenience of flexibility) and at least for the European plug, my US plugs felt like they fit a little loosely.
