If your in a small townhouse with 2 rooms upstairs, dont count on this keeping both rooms cool. Its great for what it says it can do but nothing more.

Cools Nicely but Beware of Installation Troubles!

You think you're getting a "portable" unit, think again. The first thing you'll need to do is find a window in your place that the sliding guards fit! I can guarantee you that if you have an older house that you will not find one! We could only fit 2 of the 3 sliding guards and even with that we didn't have access to the full opening of where the exhaust connects to the outside. We literally had to use branch cutters to jury-rig an opening Also, this is more like a 3 MAN JOB! On the upside it does cool nicely.

So far it’s been easy to install and clean and it even works better with the door closed, the fan mode is great to.

Sadly it doesn't really do much to cool the room. On a 90+ degree day, running full blast for 4 hours got the room down two degrees (to about 80), and as others have noted the temperature sensor is seriously incorrect. The unit thinks it's about 6 degrees cooler in the room than the correct temperature. Returned and exchanged for a GE in-window unit.
