Spring for the 1080p version.

(The 720p wasn't even on display, and I didn't know it existed -- it just says "HD" on the box.) When I powered it on, I was shocked by how blocky even the Roku menu was. The picture was even worse with a signal from a computer that recognized it as 1080p native, which led to delays in me realizing I'd bought a 720p version. Turns out it's actually a 1366x768 pixel panel, but even feeding it that native resolution it looks pretty terrible. Oh, and the sound is really bad. Which is also true of the 1080p model that I eventually ended up with, but that at least has a great picture for a budget TV.

Really, really helpful! Works very well and happy with my purchase.
