Great TV for the price. There is lots of backlight bleed when the screen is dark as expected with cheaper direct lit panels but overall the picture is quite nice and looks great on default settings right out of the box. If you aren't picky about black levels and bright spots due to some backlight bleed and want a budget TV, this is a great option

I bought this TV for my guestroom. The clarity is super clear w/ saturated vibrant colours. The bonus is that this particular model is incredibly light weight, i was able to pick it up myself and didnt have to bother my husband for help. AND the price was fantastic.

Boxed tv is very light to carry out of store. Setup is easy, only a few minutes. Picture is sharp. Colors are not great, but pretty good for a 1080p led. Has the popular streaming services pre-loaded. 40" is the perfect size for xtra bedroom. Got it on sale at $99.99; can't beat that. Recommend to buy.

Works great! Nice “smart TV” features, very light weight. Only Con is the speakers are poor quality and needs an optional sound bar if trying to use as a main living room TV.

Picture is awesome - size is perfect for a dresser top. Sound is good. My only problem so far is that the morning after I installed, the sound didn’t work at all, but was able to troubleshoot and it came back. Nice and light - great value!

Purchased this as a replacement of a small bedroom tv. Easy to hook up, sign in, and watch! We have Dish TV and cable, switching is so easy! The picture quality and sound are better than I expected, and the price was a bonus! We are planning on purchasing another one soon!

Overall pretty decent 40" 1080p TV for bedroom or home office use. The picture in not as sharp as my LG 60" in my livingroom but then again the prices were not comparable. Easy setup of the Amazon Fire account. I do wish the remote had numbers on it. Black Friday deal for $99 plus I had $65 in rewards to use so one heck of a bargain.

Bought this as a replacement tv for my son's room. Price was feeat for a 40", and the picture looks perfectly fine for it's purpose. The tv is very light, so it was also easy to mount.

This television was a replacement and I am very satisfied. Upon receiving the television it was very easy to set up. The picture and color is very good and clear. I highly recommend this television and besides it is great for the price.

Very happy with my purchase of a 40" TCL Fire TV from Best Buy. It provides a great picture and voice operated remote. Easy to install and activate. I needed this size to fit my space in a custom wall unit and it fit perfectly.

I love the picture quality. The user interface could use some work as well as its OS. I had a challenging time trying to update the prime video app that kept stating it needed to be updated and when i would use the update option it would go through the motion but fail to update itself. I left it alone for a couple of days and it resloved itself. The other fire tv i bought previously setup without a hitch. So i couldnt understand why this one was giving a little trouble. Aside from that its a great buy for the price and i would recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade their older models for a newer one.

Very nice Smart TV, especially for the price. Picture is clear and bright, sound is great, interface is smooth, and simple to set up. The voice controlled remote is a nice added bonus!

Best TV ever & got it on sale for 99.99 for my sister & me & she got hers hooked up & loves it for her bdrm! Great picture & sound is great also & I was afraid when I bought it after reading some of the negative reviews about the sound that it wouldn't have good sound but hers is perfect so I ended up getting one for myself for my guest bdrm. So glad I didn't listen to those bad reviews because she loves hers & at the price you can't go wrong! Very happy & pleased with this TCL TV & Best Buy delivered next day so I'm very happy & so is she! Thanks to Best Buy for fast delivery & a good price. First time I ever tried this brand & couldn't be happier.

The TCL 40” Tv is nice. It is very light. Picture is great. Easy to figure out how to use it.

I bought this for a teenager's room as a secondary television. Great picture and sound quality and was easy to set up. Loved the features that allow streaming with ease.

Clear and sharp picture, good sound quality, easy set up (just 2 screws for each of the 2 legs), light and not too big--one person (elderly) person to carry and set up.
