Overall, the TCL 40-inch TV is a solid choice for the price. The picture quality is decent—colors and sharpness are good for casual viewing, though it’s not the most vibrant compared to higher-end models. Sound quality is just okay; it’s clear enough, but a soundbar would definitely improve the experience if you’re particular about audio. The build feels good, and setup was quick and easy. For a basic TV, it does the job well. Great for a bedroom, guest room, or anyone on a budget.

OMG, do I love this TV! My purchase was seamless, in my budget, and the representative was very professional. TCL needs a better manual, but that is not on Best Buy. I returned this TV to the store solely due to being unhappy with the sound quality. Had it all set up and was happy with the picture. Tried to get used to it, but just wasn't pleased enough to keep it. Associate recommended a sound bar, but that defeated the purpose of purchasing a lower priced TV. A quality bar would be more than the price of the TV!

Easy to set up and synced with Google right away. We have this mounted as a gaming TV but also as a second screen for sports or streaming movies.

Best tv for the money easy to set up and new clean picture

Purchased this TV for my 91-year-old dad. We love the TV and have two other TCL TVs. The issue with this one was that the remote did not have the button for the microphone, which is something my father uses a lot. This was disappointing. Luckily I was able to swap the remote from my TCL TV with his so he could have the microphone button as I don’t necessarily need it. If not for that, I would have given it five stars as these TCL Google TVs are fantastic in every other way.

I purchased to replace another brand tv, this one had more to it, the picture quality is excellent and I like the Google TV, also put a Roku stick in it, there are so many choices and Chanels to see, I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a budget TV that has all the bells and whistles.

This is a great TV for our bedroom, because we wanted it mounted on the wall. It replaces an older, thicker, heavier 40" TV we had sitting on a dresser. This TCL is very light and is perfect for the pace we have. Picture quality is great!

I love my new TCL Google Smart television! After reading very favorable reviews about TCL I bought this one at Best Buy that was at a terrific sale price. The color picture quality is excellent and the images are sharp. And it is seamless to switch between apps. And I have so many apps to choose from. I absolutely recommend buying a TCL television. And buy it from Best Buy like I did!
