We use these in our Dental Office. They are on all day. I waited 6 months to write this review to make sure they were good, and they have been flawless and have a great picture the sound is a little tinny could use more bass. but for the money they have an easy to use Roku interface and work as described.

This is the 3rd tcl roku I have purchased either for myself, or a family member. Strait forward interface. Lots, lots, lotsa apps and games to choose from. And the 4k picture is crisp and vibrant. I sometimes just put youtube on, and select a 4K vid displaying a bird's eye view of beautiful scenery, and destination vaca spots.

I am very pleased to have these TVs - the picture is very sharp and it's easy to navigate. I could not beat the price on these TVs and I bought 2 of them primarily for guest rooms and for the office so these are not TVs that I use all the time...but great for the purpose I wanted to use them for.

I needed to upgrade to larger TV for my bedroom. Old TV is a 32" TCL that is a great TV. I just needed something bigger. I bought this during the Black Friday sale. 42" AND 4K for less than $200 with my Best Buy Rewards Certificates. There were other models available but I've had great luck with the TCL brand. This one does not disappoint!

Bought this TV for my teenage daughter's bedroom. She really loves it. The picture is great, which is good for gaming and watching movies. The best thing about this TV is the built in ROKU platform is very simple to use. My daughter feels the sound is fine, but I would recommend a sound bar for the best experience. Overall a good value.

Good deal, easy to install and set up - we attached an $11 power-assisted TV airwave antenna and get a decent amount of local stations with nice quality.

Great picture for the price, easy to use and download apps

Its a good TV I've had the ff brands : Samsung LG Sony Toshiba Vizio And now TLC For the price you get a lot more than expected Really knocked it out of the park. Its loud, picture is clear, and has a lot of apps to choose from Cons: Remote doesnt have rubber buttons so if your flipping channels or use it in your bedroom you can hear every click everytime you push a button. Its a little slower to flip between apps and in start up. Out of all the tvs ive had id rank this one third place #1 samsung 7 series - more than 2xs what i paid tlc #2 toshiba fire tv - tie with tlc really #3 tlc - fire tv # 4 sony - spend a little more get a samsung #5 LG - had it for a week and broke #6 Vizio - theres almost no apps from vizio your gunna have to buy a roku or apple tv if you get vizio Its actually better than a lot more expensive tvs Value is awesome you get a lot more for the price

This TV is great! It's do nice to have Rocu already installed. The choices we had for sound, brightness and clarity was so nice. I used to have trouble hearing some shows, but after we set it to "Speech" mode, I could hear it and was able to turn off close captioning!

We upgraded from a smaller TV from the same brand. Definitely like TCL and would recommend to others looking for a quality brand or upgrade. The smart TV is easy to use and has lots of apps to choose from. Replacement remotes are cheap and easy to find when the dogs finds one and chews it up! High quality for a great price.

This TV was the most inexpensive 43" at the time I bought it. Didn't expect a whole lot out of it but I'm honestly blown away. I have larger TVs in the house and this one went into our bedroom. This TV's color is insane. Audio is decent, not bad at all. The picture and color is mind blowing though honestly.

I am very satisfied with this tv. My 3rd TCL this yr. Going the cord cutting direction. So I now have two 43 in and a 65 in..so the price is right, no problems, good sound, setups easy. Still learning streaming. Only complaint is the clicker. Sorta small cause I'm always setting it down and I can't find it again. User error.

These TCL TB's are great smart TV's . . . we have now purchased 5 of them (not all for our house - some for our kids to take to college) . . . the Roku app is easy to add channels to and stream whatever you want whether you are still tethered to cable or a full time streamer via the other services. Highly recommended

Good picture. My wife doesn't like that she has to navigate to the cable box every time she turns it on. I'm worried that it's the same TV we replaced. That one was a different brand and didn't last very long. The remote controls are almost identical and the old one works this TV. Same TV, different face?

We now have a couple TCL Roku TV's. They are very easy to set up and have all the app's you need or want to add. Clear picture and no issues and reasonable price. I would prefer the volume buttons to be on top and not on the side of the remote, but its not that big a deal. Will likely get another.

Quite frankly, I was very, very unsure as to whether I should purchase this TV. It is a ridiculously good price, says it has HDR (HDR10), it has some local dimming type qualities and is under $400…It’s also from a manufacturer that, quite frankly, I am not very sure of as I am not familiar. What pushed me over the proverbial “edge” to buy this was two-fold…First, it is quasi suggested by Amazon, the price is great and I know it has a Roku built in. This is the third (I think) generation from TCL and Roku and the first to boast 4K and HDR. There are some outstanding features on this television and a couple cons that I can live with. I’ll outline them below. I wanted to buy a new TV for my bedroom and the 49” was cheaper than the 43”. Also, in my humble opinion, if you want to get a 4K TV with HDR, it is best experienced with a larger TV screen. I wanted to get the 55” version that has Dolby Vision HDR (because it can use Dolby Vision or HDR10 standards for HDR) but it was cost and size prohibitive.

TCL is a new brand for me but the price was right. The TV was very easy to set up, and the picture is great. The UHD is particularly vivid. I can't comment on the audio as I have a sound bar. I cut the cord long ago and was already using a Roku device. I'm very happy with this purchase.

This TV is a pretty good value. Nice picture,easy to set up.the only minor complaint are those silly little legs. I got a table mount tv stand, it even swivels. I haven't used the streaming mode yet. 40 inch tv are now low end, no 4K or uhd. 45 inve ones have disappeared.

Perfect for what we were looking for. Easy to install, easy to use. We're not a high-tech family and were looking for something to watch movies via Amazon Prime. It's just right, as is the price. Love the size, the display is clear, and the sound is great. Delivery was fast. Thanks Best Buy!

I'm impressed ! This so far has been a great tv. Picture is nice and I like the Roku os. I also like Chromecast that is similar on my other tv. I have the 43 inch and it's great for the bedroom. For the price for a 4k I choose well. I have M series Vizio and this tv I love just as well.
