Wish it had Bluetooth for speaker system and computer. Computer though does mirror screen and all the Roku apps work good. Comcast cable works really well with it too. 4K is awesome and pretty much works all the time (all channels and Apps) I guess tech progress is all in sync now.

Love the Roku interface, and this TV has a good picture for the price. It will occasionally freeze up with no sound causing me to unplug and plug it back in, but it is well worth the price.

This is the perfect television for a bedroom. Only needs a single power cord going to it and you get all of your Roku channels. It is not HDR, but the picture is 4K quality and is noticeably better than standard HD. If you have a larger bedroom you should probably opt for the 55"... the 43" might be hard to read text from a distance. Other than that it is a phenomenal bargain at only $399.

Finding a quality TV in the 40"-43" inch range is very hard. The best reviewed are in the $600+ range. I had a Sony Bravia 40" TV 2016 model and it was absolutely awful. They only included 2 HDMI ports and one of them was completely blocked with a wall mount because of where they put the mount screws. Unbelievable failure in engineering. I traded that in for the TCL 43UP130 with some misgivings because of some of the reviews and I don't know if those people were just unlucky or what but this TV is light years ahead of the Sony I just returned. The bezel and finish is better than the Sony. The picture is as good or better than the Sony. The picture options, options in general, remote control, user interface, apps and the speed of the system are way better. There are 4 HDMI ports all placed in a good location for a wall mount. RCA, optical audio and component video and a USB port. The Roku interface is fast and robust. More importantly this TV is $399! So good for the price. Total A+.

Careful, this is the old 2016 model. The new 2017 model is much better. Thinner in multiple areas, completely different design to look thinner from side angles, just better period. My 2 stars is for Best Buy. Not TCL. They should always have the year next to something if there is a new model available, there's nowhere in the information that explains this stuff and now I have three 2017 models in this house that I just got somewhere else, and this fourth 2016 ugly duckling model. It's horrible, if I had time I would definitely send it back but I know it's not that easy. Going to stick to Amazon from here on no matter what.

Crisp view, light TV but still does not seem cheaply built.
