    Great TV for a great price! I use this for an outdoor TV that I take in and out each use. It it very light weight and easy to hang and detach from an outdoor wall mount. Great quality and for a little bit of effort, much cheaper than a true outdoor TV. Wifi works great and all apps perform well. For a cheap TV, this is a great deal.

    Could not see channels with tuner

    Wasted 3 hours on this set. Guessing I got a lemon. After setting up WiFi did a channel scan , got 34 channels. Went to view the channels. Nothing, not a thing. Opened Roku. Roku channels looked great. 4K Dolby rocks. Did a factory reset. Skipped all the WiFi setup. I went straight to the TV channel setup. Scanned and got 34. Looked at them looked great.Went back setup WiFi and Roku channels. Looked great. Went back to watch regular tv. Nothing not a thing. Taking it back and getting a Samsung tomorrow. Really wanted the built in Roku.

    Do not like being forced to create a Roku account to use the TV. This TV does not have internet like my 3 other smart TV's. I have to hook my computer to it to view other item I can search and stream on the internet. The remote is difficult to use and the volume control is on the side, which means I'm always muting the TV or changing the volume accidentally. Would not recommend this product.

      Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. In order to use the smart features of this TCL Roku TV, you would need to complete the guided setup. This includes connecting to the Internet via WiFi, creating a Roku account (completely free), and activating the TV (completely free). However, if you just want to use this TV as a traditional TV by connecting external devices through the various inputs and not use the smart features, you can elect to not connect this TV to the Internet at startup. You will still have access to all of the inputs and features of a traditional TV. We are always looking for ways to improve, and your feedback is greatly appreciated!     Bought this to replace 2 monitors. Love it. Have it connected to pc and Xbox. Set up all my online viewing accounts with ease. The fast refresh is perfect for gaming and the colors are on point. Worth every penny.

    It’s the smallest, most affordable TV with 120 Hz refresh rate that’s great for smooth movies and smoother gameplay. The addition of Roku TV is a great addition to this fine TV with greater media to stream.

    Screen problem five months in

    Today, it would not display a picture, although i could hear sound. I rebooted by pulling the power and plugging it back in. The picture came up, but now there are two lines across the screen about 1/3 of the way from the bottom. Above the lines, everything looks normal. Below the lines, everything is broken up in a pattern looking like an out of sync CRT. See the picture attached. I know a bad item occasionally makes it way out of the factory, and it appears I got one. Big kudos to TCL support. After a brief on-line chat with a support rep, sending some photos of the issue, and a copy of my receipt, they are sending out a new television free of charge. I hope the replacement lasts a bit longer than five months. I'm willing to give TCL another shot and hope I just got that one in a thousand bad television.

    One, I saw no difference between this TV and the regular TCL 4k, what I did see was a big difference in price. Two: I've had this TV for just over a month and lines are all over the picture! Three: This tv sucks n is not worth the extra $$, n u wanna know what really truly sucks? I'm still paying for it!!!! TCL said they will fix it, I said I don't want it buy it back, no response yet, as usual!

    Terrible I Am So Mad!!!!

    I had to buy two different TVs. The first one I bought made a buzzing noise when powered on so I returned it and exchanged it for another one. It worked great for about a month. Now the tv turns on screen stays black but sounds work so idk what is wrong with it. Hopefully bestbuy will allow to exchange

    Got a dark band after 3 weeks of usage!

    After 3 weeks of usage, the bottom portion of the screen has a permanent darker band (see pictures). It won't go away after restart the TV, unplug and wait, and even after factory reset the TV.

    I haven't actually tested the vacuum because when I opened the box, I discovered the pieces not packed. They were just in the box. When I pulled them out, I discovered that the canister has dirt in it. It has been used. I called the store and will be taking it back to get a new one, tomorrow. I look forward to doing a review on a new one'

    Today marks 4 months of having this TV and I already have lines of dead pixels. Lasted long enough to be outside of store warranty of course. Do NOT buy this TV. I honestly won't buy another TCL TV in my life because of this experience and HIGHLY recommend that anyone reading this does NOT buy a TCL device themselves.

    Dead Pixels

    Had the T.V. for a few weeks outside of the 1 year warranty and turned it on and there was a cluster of dead pixels against the frame of the T.V. It worked perfectly up until this point, very disappointing to have spent as much as I did to have this t.v. be unusable in 12 months.

    Broke 1 mo after manufacturer's warranty expired

    Picked up TV August 16, 2020. Oct 5, 2021 TV gets vertical black lines across screen. From what I read about this, it is considered a manufacturer's defect. Unfortunately, the manufacturer's warranty only lasts 1 year and the TV lasted 1 year and 1 1/2 months.

    Defective model

    After only 4 months of moderate to minimal use the picture on this TCL series 5 TV turned Green on every channel! Seems to be a hardware issue and when googling it several other customers had the same issue! I highly recommend staying away from this brand and model! Very disappointed.

    I have always bought top of the line TV from Sony and Samsung from the Magnolia store in best buy. I always wanted the latest technology , the slickest looking frame, and of course great picture. It was easy to do that when I was looking for 1 living room tv, but as I have grown in family size and like to have tvs throughout the house, it is just not affordable to buy the expensive name brands, so I tried this 4k TV out with Roku. First off the Roku built in is awesome, for over a year now I not only myself but any samsung tv owner will tell you that the ATT now (used to be called direct tv now) is horrible on a Samsung TV , I dont know why they will not fix it but I will not pay top dollar for samsung qled tv when I cant get the att now tv app to work. its not att / direct tv, it is samung. This tv with the roku in it works right out the box. I put my netlix , hulu , and plex on it with no problems. The menus are awesome. For the money you can't beat this tv. Great for office , guest room, garage.

    Don’t buy - Sticker on screen

    I saw another review saying they found a sticker on the screen of the tv. I figured it was bad luck, but sure enough, I found one too. The sticker does not come off the screen. TCL should know better, this is ridiculous.
