Had all the features I needed in a TV. The only problem I noticed was the angle of view was not good.

Poor picture quality with green hue when viewing at side angle. Samsung picture a lot better. Surprised it was noticeably better on a 43" screen.

When I needed to replace my TCL Roku tv, I didn't hesitate to purchase a newer model. I read the reviews. While it wasn't rated the highest, various sites extolled the virtues of this tv. I was immediately aware that the color wasn't very vibrant, but thought I just needed to fine tune it. The viewing angle was so narrow that straight on viewing was the only way to enjoy a good picture. Move a few inches in either direction and the color faded significantly. Didn't want to go through the hassel of taking it down and returning it, but after Just over two weeks of watching it, the picture suddenly went haywire! Maybe this particular tv was defective. Long story short, checked the same model in the store-saw the same viewing angle issue. Best Buy generously offered me a full in-store credit. I used it toward the purchase of a Samsung model and am extremely happy.

Roku TV has very easy to use UI. It is a 4K TV. Viewing angle is sort of narrow - means you lost contrast as you move from left to right. Price is reasonable for the value. I think improvement needed for the remote - volume, mute buttons are on the side, mute can be easily trigger accidentally if not careful

Bought this as a Black Friday deal, for the Bedroom, replacing my 720P 32" Samsung..... Only thing I could find wrong, with TV is viewing angle....picture does dim to left and right.....but watching from the bed eliminates that problem.... I use a lot of apps with Roku on my other tv's, and with Roku built in, no need to spend money on a Roku device, that would use up one of the HDMI ports..... Surprised at the complaints of the quality of sound.....the sound out of this is better than my two other Samsung's and LG...... As for the picture quality, better than 720 or 1080, but not quite up to the more expensive models of the same size....but how can you complain about a $200 43" TV, with good sound, decent picture, built in roku, 3 HDMI ports, and 120 motion? Oh, and did I mention it has UHD for $200? Bought a 4K dvd player and the picture just pops out at you!

I went to the local store to see TVs side by side to help judge the pictures. They are all so good that for me it came down to price. As some have noted in their reviews, there is some color washout if you get more than 45 degrees off to the side, and with TCL it did seem to be more so than a couple of the higher priced brands. Since this was going in my spare room, the viewing angle "issue" was not enough to get me to spend an extra $100. Setup was easy and I am in love with the built in ROKU system. No more ugly cable box and monstrous remote. GOOD JOB TCL.
