Great tv
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really do like this tv. The picture is great, we put it in our bedroom so it’s good size. The only thing I am not liking is that while it says it’s compatible with Alexa it isn’t really. She can’t follow commands for playback like pause, play, etc in netflix. The remote does not have speak commands either. I am enjoying listening to the tv via the roku app on my phone though (remote does not have headphone insert so you have to use app).

TCL flatscreen TV
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice small TV for the bedroom or smaller spaces. Has Roku, etc. Clear picture. Easy to setup and use. We have had it a few years now and still enjoy using it. The TCL brand was unknown to us when we bought it, but it has proved to be a good reliable TV. We like all the features and it’s easy to use.

Like the TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I need something that is simple to set up and that works the first Time. I Have a TCL 49". so I was confident that this would do the job. I get get tv and internet programming without any wires, and it works great for the game room in the basement. Good sound, good picture easy set up and good price value.

Good sound for a 43” tv
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Has roku build in. Takes awhile to turn on. Great sound. Better than my 55”. Good picture. Easy set up. Checkout was very fast at the Best Buy we went to in Maple Grove. Have never owner a TCL tv before so was a little sceptical, but read reviews and it checked out OK. Great deal for the price. Hopefully it will last as long as the other brands. Well worth the money in my opinion.

Pretty decent TV
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ok: it’s not like the best tv in the world. However it is a good value for the money and perfect for an additIonal room or budget conscious household. The picture is good — much better than a 1080p tv but worse than a premium brand. The inclusion of the Roku interface a huge plus and it is fast. One minus is the lack of RF/Bluetooth remote so it lacks the microphone on the remote and as far as I know there is no way to add it.

Great for a small bedroom
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Looks good in my room which is very small, now looks amazingly cool after I mounted it on the wall. Picture quality is very good given the price of this TV

Good picture and value BUT...
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Beware.. if you are on Comcast in an area that is now Enforcing the 1 tb (1024 gb) data caps, the built in Roku on this unit will absolutely destroy your usage if set up. It gets the low rating because there is no quick way of temporarily disabling the network. You see, if you just simply shut this tv off in the middle of a HD Hulu or Netflix show, or you’ve also been surfing youtube and spotify, and then decide your going to bed, guess what..it keeps playing all those channels in the background. Eating up to 8gb an hour or more based on how many “Apps” you left running because you did not go back to the “ Home” button each time. Which they don’t tell you to do. After going over our data limit and using one courtesy month of data and coming dangerously close to a second month of overage, i contacted Comcast assuming they messed up our MAC address or we had a network intruder leeching our network. None of that was the case. Narrowing it down to this tv after going into settings and disabling network for two days, we saw a dramatic decrease in our daily usage. The wife really liked the price and the picture quality and did not want to deal with the hassle of a return, so our work around was to use one of our Amazon Smart Plugs to kill the power to the tv at night. Bottom line: If you want an inexpensive tv with a good picture and have no plans of connecting to a network this tv is a good deal. If you plan on Connecting to a network, I would avoid this Roku TV until TCL makes disabling/toggling the network easier to access. Or is more transparent about how data is used on this device.
No, I would not recommend this to a friendBrand response from TCLExpert
Posted .Hi HanoverFist,
Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. Upon turning OFF your TV, it will automatically disconnect from the Internet after approximately 15 minutes regardless if you are on the Home screen when the TV it turned OFF. However, if you have "Fast TV start" enabled, your TV will remain connected to the Internet even when turned OFF. Again, this is regardless if the TV is on the Home screen or not when it is turned OFF. Hope this helps!
Thank you,
Sara

Great TV for the money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this TV for my daughters room and it is a great value. The Best Buy rep sold me on TCL, although I know nothing about the brand but the reviews are good. This TV is feature rich, has a great picture and is easy to setup. I am considering replacing the 55" in my bedroom for a TCL 60"

Great all-around TV
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I cannot believe how much I ended up loving this TV. Bought it for my kid to take to college and was too big for her room so I ended up with it in the MBR. The integrated Roku is fantastic and the picture is awesome. I will absolutely purchase a TCL television again in future!

Good display for smaller rooms
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this TV precisely for the HDR function to use with my PS4, and I have some media in 4K, so the image quality was good for the price. However, the sound or the volume is more or less quiet. A sound bar would enhance your experience. Also, use this TV for smaller rooms, because the viewing angle is not wide enough. Overall, this TV is excellent for the price.

Big bang for the buck
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a 55inch tcl tv for my spare room and love it so far. Wanted another smart tv for my screened in patio and found this 43inch for 197 dollars at best buy. No brainer that this was the right price and the perfect size I needed. Just plug it in and connect to wifi and your done. Tcl makes a great roku tv.

Good TV for the price.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This RCL TV fits the budget and offers 4K with Roku built in. You can't beat that for the price. Only drawback so far with this model is that the remote is IR instead of RF. The upgraded TCL model has the RF remote, but for the price this one is fine.

TCL 43" LED
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Honestly this TV is such a steal. For the price...wow super worth it. For those who aren't familiar with Roku TV, its a FREE SERVICE that has live channels, shows and MOVIES. This was a great surprise to have with such an affordable TV. The remote is very simple and not that practical. Visual quality is great for the most part.

Perfect TV!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very cheap tv for what it does! I have always preferred Roku over Firestick and the Roku settings are very easy and straightforward when connecting other devices to TV! I’m a heavy Hulu and Netflix user and this tv really lets you do it all!
