    Not up to previous TCL tv.

    When I needed to replace my TCL Roku tv, I didn’t hesitate to purchase a newer model. I read the reviews. While it wasn’t rated the highest, various sites extolled the virtues of this tv. I was immediately aware that the color wasn’t very vibrant, but thought I just needed to fine tune it. The viewing angle was so narrow that straight on viewing was the only way to enjoy a good picture. Move a few inches in either direction and the color faded significantly. Didn’t want to go through the hassel of taking it down and returning it, but after Just over two weeks of watching it, the picture suddenly went haywire! Maybe this particular tv was defective. Long story short, checked the same model in the store—saw the same viewing angle issue. Best Buy generously offered me a full in-store credit. I used it toward the purchase of a Samsung model and am extremely happy.

    I actually really like the TV but the power cord was apparently broke when we received it. We thought our outlet was bad because the TV kept clicking on and off so we moved it to a different outlet....but it continued to happen. Upon further review, the power cord was broken where it plugs into the TV. I don’t think I should have to order one online for $40 and a replacement cord is not available on Best Buy website and I have had no luck getting ahold of Best Buy. Tried the phone number and waited on hold for 45 minutes and had to finally hang up and I can’t find an email address to send my replacement request to. So...nice TV, just doesn’t work well without power.

    absolute Terrible product

    I purchased this TV in Southfield Michigan on black friday for a birthday present in May. We opened it and set it up. It worked for 10 days and stopped. I emailed and constantly called TCL and that's all they would say is you need to find an American address so you can send the tv back so we can repair it. I tried to explain that I did not have an American address and needed to have this sent back from Canada. They would not help me. I will never purchase another TCL product and would not recommend them to anyone.

    Wish I didn't get this one....

    ...wonder if the Store Manager will let me return it w/o the box? The picture is great ONLY IF you are directly in front of the screen. A little bit to the left or right and the picture fails terribly. Move farther left or right and it gets worse. Also, the sound is not good. The volume must be close to 30 in order to hear it. Sales Associate sold me a sound bar but it wouldn't fit under the TV.

    Broken in Box

    I purchased this TV in the store, employees put it in my SUV, got home and opened the box and behold - the screen was completely smashed. Nothing happened during the 3 mile car ride home that would have caused this damage, so I can only conclude that this occurred during the transit from the warehouse to the store. Because this was the only one in stock, I opted to trade it for a completely different brand altogether (Insignia) which was the same price. I love the Insignia and am glad I chose it.

    unless you are sitting DIRECTLY in front of this an don't have the extra $30 to spend - get the LG. This set is terrible. The viewing angle is very narrow and it has a bright white LED that comes on when the set is OFF. You CAN dim it when ON but not OFF. Roku is redundant if you have a cable or sat provider. You just need a smart TV to get to the internet. Just don't get it.

    I really don't understand how this tv could have any good reviews. The screen quality, the sound quality all mediocre. The mounting screws on the back were a nightmare, BUT the worst part is this TV shut itself down after 3 days of usage. I went with a Samsung instead its been a dream watching tv since making the switch.

    This is my second tcl tv. The first one just stop working and now this second one just wont play any vudu or nexflix. I will never buy with this brand again. I'm sticking with samsung. Dont bother calling tcl customers service for help. They'll make it seem like it's your fault that the tv is not working.

    Bad buy

    I bought my TV less than 2 weeks ago, due to work I've only got to use it about 4 times and the sound quality has been so poor, the UI navigation is sluggish and just today a few minutes prior to writing this review it turned itself off and will not turn back on. Definitely not worth it

    Worst TV Ever

    This was the worst TV i ever bought, the sound was terrible, i returned it to Best Buy because TCL customer service sucks, they wanted me to return the tv to them for 7-10 days and be without a tv

    LCD panel went out after 14 months and out of warranty. Don’t waste your money. Buy a brand that has been around a while and proven.
