Great price for a great tv , its solid the build was surprisingly great , I had a32 in tcl model 1080p and it was all cheap light plastic , but when I unboxed this it had some weight to it the design was really nice thin bezels great picture the different levels of hdr are great it's a solid tv consider and I got it at a great price to 250 plus tax you cant beat that for a brand new 43 in 4k tv. Positive reviews with the promise of a low price led me to consider the TCL. The reviews were spot on. Easy set up out of the box. Great picture and good sound. Everyone in the family is happy with the t.v.. This includes the kids who play games to the adults who like watching movies and sports. Love the Roku platform.

This was my second TCL. Was so pleased with the first one that going to the brand again for a TV for my office was a no brainer. For the price I can't argue with what I'm getting. The Roku interface is easy to use and streaming content is a breeze. Picture quality is nice, may require some setting tweaks to get to your liking, but I'm very satisfied. Would buy another TCL in the future for sure.

Works great for an extra tv for the kids. I wish every tv was a roku tv as it is super easy to use and the kids have lots of options to watch. The picture is just fine for an extra tv. This wouldn't be my top pick for my theater spec tv but for the kids or an extra room, it is great. I wanted a 6 Series but I don't know if it came this small. My go to tvs are OLED and this will never match one of those, but my kids don't care, they love it.

I bought 2 of these TVs to use in our AirBnB bedrooms. I loved the ease of use of the Roku like remote. I have the Roku 4k Ultimate & love that too. These TVs are a great value. I love them & so do my guests. One of the guest is a big gamer & he thinks it's great!

I had never purchased a TCL TV before, generally I buy Samsung. I am very happy with the choice and the extremely knowledgeable guy at Best Buy was an excellent source of information and a valuable asset to the store. You can read all about the stats elsewhere, but WOW this TV felt good and was easy to use. Impressive! I will buy another TCL product, they earned my business.

Picture quality is excellent and built-in Roku menu responsiveness is fairly snappy. I use this mainly for playing my PS4 Pro, Switch, and streaming video. It quickly detects when I turn on either game system and automatically switches to the appropriate input after a quick countdown. Another great feature of this series is the incredibly low input lag. That's the time between pressing a controller button and the reaction on the screen. I had no problems playing games that require absolute visual and control precision, specifically Celeste on the Switch ad DJ Max Respect on the PS4 Pro. If you want an affordable and responsive gaming TV, the TCL series are a great choice. Final note: This model of the 43" TCL 5 series only comes with the plain Roku remote, not the voice-enabled + headphone compatible one. A bit disappointing, but you can download the Roku app on your phone or tablet and control it even better that way. You can even plug in your headphones to your device and listen to the TV that way, too. I don't recommend using Bluetooth headphones with your phone/tablet for this though. You'll probably experience a bit of audio lag like I did unless you have a recent version of Bluetooth and apt/apt-x compatibility (for less lag). Corded ear/headphones and you should be fine.

This is my first 4K display and I've been very impressed by the picture quality while watching streaming video on the built-in Roku apps as well as set up for 4K gaming via my PC. Viewing angles are not great but everything else is very solid. Can't figure out how to access the HDR features via Windows 10 but I think that's a Windows issue. I'd recommend this TV at around the $200 price point if you want to dip your toe into the 4K environment.

I am happy with my purchase of TCL 43" UHD 4K Roku TV. Before I bought, I debated between the Samsung and TCL. After reading users' reviews, the TCL clearly came out on top. Ease of use with 3 HDMI inputs. Sharp picture quality. But as with all LED TVs, you do lose some picture quality on side viewing. Will buy it again for a bigger size screen in the future

Bought this at Xmas 2018 after my older 720p Sanyo went out.Good size for bedroom.Love the 4K resolution for gaming with my Xbox 1s.Upscales very well.Drawbacks would be sound and viewing angles.I have it connected to a stereo with the provided headphone jack splitter and sounds great. The 2 8Watt speakers are just to weak.Unless you are watching in the center the colors will fade. Not too bad for the money.

A huge step up from relying on the "smart" features in our Blueray player. This TV looks great, is really easy to set up, and starts up very rapidly as well. Interface is very easy to understand, and the picture is consistently sharp and clear. Very happy with it!!!

This Roku smart TV has everything you need to go cable free and start streamimg. I purchased this for my office and hung on the wall for some entertainment when I need a break. I only stream channels using WiFi. It works fantastic and easy to get around with the remote. great picture and well worth the price. I recommend to anyone.

Great 4K TV for it's price! Best if viewed straight forward never sitting at angle. Sound is ok, seems to fluctuate based on programming broadcast low but gaming high. Solid tv! Recommended at $280! 1080p blurays even look better on this tv for some reason!

I purchased this TV because it was recommended for gaming. It can pull off the 60 hz Dolby vision required by Xbox one X and is the smallest and lest expensive option for experiencing this. Wow! Totally worth it! If you need a TV smaller than 50’ you won’t find better outside of qled for double or triple the cost.

I read the reviews and Consumer Reports guide before visiting Best Buy so I was fairly convinced TCL was a good choice. But being honest, the reviews don't do it justice. I was surprised by the quality of the picture. Even the off center view is not as bad as it was stated. Highly recommended if you need a smaller 4K TV.

I was hesitant to purchase ROKU TV set because it is internet based only apps on the TV. It is so easy to use, soooo many free movies and channels, and the picture quality was beyond expectations. Good bye cable.

This TV has a surprisingly great picture quality for the price. While it may not be as impressive as the higher end models, the resolution will suffice for the average consumer like myself. I have not had any problems with the set so far and have found it simple to use thanks to the Roku software included.
