This TV was very easy to set up. I bought this TV for my 2 kids to play video games. The picture quality is excellent & there are plenty of HDMI inputs to take of all our needs. I bought this TV on a 20 day doorbuster & I am very pleased with the price that I paid for. There are better TVs out there, but you have to pay a premium for it. This TV satisfies our needs & we are very happy.

The product was purchased for a guest room. It was sized right and screen was excellent. I wanted a TV but not have to buy a box to hook it to the cable provider. With its built in Roku, I could easily link the TV to Netflix, Amazon and some free channels. The ease of consumer set up was the biggest selling point.

One of the best TV's in the market for under $300 (when I bought this two months back). Very sturdy, port selection is good (3 HDMI and a powerful USB port for hard drives), Roku OS is fantastic and one of the best things to have running internally on a TV, and the screen itself is great for the money. Admittedly the HDR is a little lacking at times and the panel itself probably isn't a true 10-Bit panel (so there may be dithering in the colors when watching HDR10 content) and there's also no local dimming so the whole screen's backlight remains on, but the contrast itself is great when viewed directly in front of, and off-topic but the latency when playing video games is incredibly low for when I play competitively. The next 5-Series TV will probably be much better value and the 6-Series is significantly better value as-is, but if you desperately need a 43-inch TV and want one that's great value, this is the way to go. Don't expect perfection, but for the money and size, and until other TVs release, it's hard to go much better.

I finally upgraded to a 47” smart tv for my bedroom! I am not disappointed. It was a great deal during the Father’s Day weekend. Although I am not a father, I appreciate Best Buy for always meeting my budget needs for so many items in the past. The Roku smart TV has met my expectations!

This is written 6 months after my purchase. Easy to set up. Easy to use. Excellent picture and Roku smart TV software. Everyone in the family loves it (gamers, movies, streamers, sports)(Jr. high, high school, college, parents, grandparents). Perfect for DirectTVNow, Prime, Netflix and PlayStation.

Picture is awesome and versatile functionality. Roku built in is awesome. It is nice using 1 remote to turn tv, speakers, and navigate Netflix. It was very affordable and I would recommend this product to anyone buying a new TV

I had been looking for an upgrade from my older 32" tv in my bedroom and started doing some research. I was looking in for TV's in the $250-$300 range. A few reviews on the internet showed the TCL 43" series 5 was rated better than Samsung, LG, and Toshiba in this price range. So far, I am quite pleased with the purchase. The picture is great. The images are sharp without making everything look like it was filmed in soap opera mode. I have this tv connected to an Xfinity cable box. Once, I figured out that the * on the remote let you change picture and speech on the box, the tv was even better. Switching the sound to voice increased the volume that was lacking upon initial setup. I also found a way to bypass the Roku home menu on startup and go straight to the cable tv.

This is an excellent gaming tv in my opinion. It has a really fast refresh rate and the picture quality is very good. It's super easy to setup with some pretty smart features. And the sound quality is decent for tv speakers. I would definitely purchase another TLC tv.

No, it is not a Sony so don't expect that level of picture. That said, it is a lot better than any of the lower priced TVs that I looked at and was highly competitive with, if not better than, the entry level Samsung and LG units at a better price. Well worth the money.

I purchased this tv for our master bedroom. It has not disappointed. This is my first purchase of a 4k smart tv. The picture quality is amazing. The hdr, Roku and internet ready are a plus. This is an excellent 43 inch television and I would recommend it to anyone who asks.

Use this in an office that doesn’t get a lot of use, but when it does get cut on it’s a pleasure. Decent picture quality, all flavors of HDR, and the Roku software makes this TV very enjoyable. Best bang for buck TV we have in the house.

The TCL 43" 5 Series 4K Roku TV is a excellent value. If you have reliable high-speed internet service, you can subscribe to Roku streaming channels such as Youtube TV or Sling TV and save a bundle compared to what cable companies charge for the same TV channels. If you aren't ready to give up cable TV yet, you can use a traditional cable company set top box and still have access to all the Roku TV features. The TCL Roku TV is one of a very few that includes both a wireless (WiFi) and a wired Ethernet port for connecting to the internet. The picture quality is excellent. (While the picture quality may not be the absolute best available when compared to a TV costing three times as much, 99% of the people watching it will not see a noticeable difference.) It makes an excellent bedroom or sunroom TV. It's very light weight and easy to set up.

Was very skeptical of the brand till I heard they been around for a long time and strive in the gaming market. The picture quality even on standard by is remarkable. Playing on Xbox one x is unreal. The hdr makes a huge difference. Good bedroom tv for the price.

This TV is great. I especially love the fact that it has Roku installed in it. I love everything about this. It is very easy to set up and use. I love all the channels you can access. This TV makes it easy to cut the cable cord.

Usually I buy the higher end TVs but decided to give this on a try for spare room. I was amazed by the picture quality for a TV at this price and being both Dolby vision and hdr. Bravo. Series 5 and 6 you won't be disappointed.

Prob the best deal I ever got on a TV. $200 for 43". If you can get your hands on one of these def buy it. Color quality is above the other brands and the roku integrates very well.

This TV is outstanding. The picture and sound quality are excellent and connects easily to one's Roku account. This TV may be the best deal for a 4K TV in its price range and I can't recommend it highly enough. Just make sure that you have room for it.

Quality of picture is good. had a little issue getting it set up and it keep losing the wifi access. Frustrating at first, but finally fixed it when i added an additional wifi address (did this for other reasons, not the TV). Outside that good TV. Love the Roku.

This TCL set makes a great PC monitor for those who need a larger screen along with 4K resolution. In addition to having a very nice picture, it also features Dolby Vision as well as HDR10 compatibility...something you’ll appreciate more and more as you delve into the many channels in the Roku ecosystem.

This tv was incredibly easy to set up - from the stand (obviously easy), wireless connection, and even the apps through Roku. The picture is amazing! My favorite part is the thin edge, makes watching better when there's no thick plastic border.
