The sound and picture are awesome. I enjoy having the option to switch between preferences like HDR and Dolby picture/sound. Its a great form to get into 4K and thankfully the apps run as a great substitute if you have console app issues.

Good screen size for our guest suite. So easy to set up. Love how quickly the tv turns on to choose an app to open. We have Roku for our non smart tv’s so it is a longer process. Plan to buy another one with a larger screen for our great room.

Bought it for my kid. Awesome picture and settings menu is simple to use. Only down side is sideview angle, it washes out lots of color. Sitting in front is the only view for this tv.

The technology on my new TCL is better than what I expected. + Set up was extremely easy and the picture is crystal clear. Couldn't have picked a better Television for such a low price!

Owned this for almost a year and it hasn't broken on me and it has such a nice color with hdr once you adjust the picture settings. It's a bang for the buck. Would recommend this tv for people on a budget!

TCL series 5, 43" Roku TV. What a great TV. I'm not a videophile and don't need the best of the best but I know a great picture and a good deal. I got both with this TV. Best Buy sale beat Amazon price and delivery was free. Very pleased.

Purchased the TCL series 5 (43") about a month ago and couldn't be happier with it. Prior to the purchase I was warned be "brand-specific/popular friends" that TCL is not as good as a Samsung or Sony. I get that, but I feel that that stigma fits if you are purchasing a screen 49" or bigger OR if you are highly aware of the best picture clarity and color. Myself, I can tell the picture quality differences between TVs. But in the end at home, you're staring at one TV and not two. And so you can't really tell the differences, for some TVs - and this includes the TCL series 5. Especially if your last TV was a a grade lower, which was my case, so the TCL seemed like an upgrade for me. Do yourself (and your wallet) a favor, and consider this TV if your looking for a 43" or smaller.

Tv was easy to set up and connect. I love that it helps me in desire to cut the cord. I do not have cable but with all the options, I don’t need cable. Roku, Hulu, & Netflix are all the tv I need. Very lightweight but good quality.

Can’t beat this TV for the price paid. Colors are good, black levels are good also. As others have said. off angle viewing makes picture not look as good. Orderd on a Thursday night and delivered Saturday morning! So far, no complaints.

Needed to replace my bedroom Samsung TV that was about 15 years old. Unfortunately the display went bad... I have been eye balling the TCL 5 series for awhile and being a fan of the Roku streaming device. This TV was a no brainer for me. The picture and built quality is really impressive at this price point. The only issue is the viewing angles. When you starting going off to the right or left you will notice the colors slightly watered down but that was expected. TCL is still the king on budget TV though. The features, picture, built quality and the Roku OS built-in are still amazing. As a bedroom TV, this does more than what I need. Definitely recommend this TV anyone.

This is our second TCL television. We’ve had a 4 Series for a couple of years and have been so pleased with it that we bought this one when the need arose. Very good quality. Easy to set up. We’re very happy with it.

It’s perfect for our bedroom. Upgraded from 1080p toshiba and I can really notice a deference with ultra HD/HDR/Dolby Vision! PlayStation vue also upscales very well.

Bought this as a gift. During the setup i was impressed. I'm a huge Roku fan but never had seen a Roku TV. I liked it alot and this TV is fantastic for a budget TV. Highly recommend!

Great picture, easy to stream if you are a ROKU user (Roku is built in), excellent sound. The only drawback is you must face the remote to the bottom center of the TV to move between streaming channels.

I have this above my refrigerator (fits perfectly, by the way-- about 36 inches wide). My biggest concern was the viewing angle, particularly from below because of the height. It's not perfect, but more than acceptable and waaay better than the TV it replaced. Then there is the Roku software. I have not seen a TV with software even one quarter as good as Roku, which is what convinced me to go with this TV over a competitor. Sound is pretty good, but as with all TVs that are now an inch or so thick, you'll need a soundbar, stereo, powered speakers, etc. to get any real bass and crisp highs. For the price, this TV was a no-brainer, and I certainly wasn't paying 4 times as much for an OLED in my kitchen. Would buy again in a second.

After seeing reviews online and seeing in person. This is nicer then even a Samsung 7 series. Sleek and supports Dolby Vision. I’d say only the new Samsung Q series 43” can out perform this. Nice job tcl!

This TV is a good size for most bedrooms. Light weight, easy to hang and a clear picture makes this a great value. Easy to set up and simple to use with Roku added. I bought two of them and very happy.

Perfect bedroom TV. Great size, great price. Fantastic picture, speed, and convenience with the iPhone app. It’s better in every way than our older lcd.

This is the second TCL Roku TV I have purchased. They are both working great and I would highly recommend them. The picture is great and having the ROKU built in is amazingly convenient.

This is my first time ever buying a TCL TV and I couldn't be more pleased. I'm not an expert when it comes to the quality of the picture, but from what I can see it looks just as good as my 55" Samsung SUHD TV I have in my living room. That may be saying alot I know, but again I'm no expert. I wasn't expecting much as in quality since I bought it mainly because my old TV went out and this one was on sale. With that being said, it blew my expectations out of the water. The only thing I'm not a fan of, is the legs of the TV. That's just an opinion though, doesn't effect the actual TV quality at all.
