    The TCL tv was a great buy. I was looking for a TV that was not too costly and provided a good picture. I got a great picture and cheap price. I woukd buy anothe TCL tv in the future.

    I bought this as a Christmas present for my grandpa, and figured he would have no problem using it since they already have a google tv in the livingroom (Sony Bravia). Boy, I was wrong. The remote doesn't have an input button (and he watches cable), so everytime he wants to go to HDMI 1 he has to go to the settings first which can be super confusing. They need to add a "Cable" tile to the home screen so it's front and center; The Sony Bravia Google TV does this, so I'm not sure why this feature is lacking on the TCL. Also, the sleep timer turns off by itself so you have to re-enable it every single day. Sound quality is awful. For a 2023 TV, I am extremely disappointed.

    The remote is huge, and it's entirely too long. Next, the Google TV system, is all over the place. The guide is not easily accessible. There should be one button to get the guide. It is not available on the remote and not available, quickly on the home screen. The picture quality is mediocre. the Google TV system is totally different from the Android TV system and I would prefer the Android TV system over this one. It does have some nice casting, text messaging Google / Android capabilities. The system is compatible with pretty much every app. Overall, the operating system from the TV is not user friendly. I would not recommend nor purchase this TV again.

    A high value, I got alot of T.V. for the money. I know I could have gotten a 4K set but I'm mostly a news hound and all stations only broadcast in true HD anyway. I wish the industry would perhaps cooperate and put together a web site explaining all the more detailed settings available on Flat Screen sets and how to properly reference them to images of different types. What I did get was a Quick Start Guide and...that was about it. It did get me going but it took longer to discover proper image settings than I thought it should have. But the defaults are well chosen. ...waited longer than anyone else I know to upgrade to a Flat Screen, but it was worth it as performance/price ratio on this set is quite high...
