    We needed a digital signage TV, so I was looking for a 1080p model for a good price and without a lot of bells & whistles, but I wanted one that clearly stated that it had a built-in media player app for playing slideshows from a USB thumb drive. I docked this model one star because you can't set the duration for the slide (or photo) playback manually, you only get four choices. For me, the jump from an 8-second pace to 15 seconds per slide seems huge. For certain kinds of informational slides, I think you'd want to be able to select 10-, 11- or 12-second durations. But maybe that's just me!

    Well, you get what you pay for. Good TV for a spare room or somewhere like a garage or patio where you don't do much viewing. The screen is nice but the sound is absolutely terrible. Get it cheap as a backup or spare screen.
