Come on folks, this is not a 5 star TV, you can’t buy that for in 43” below $200, let’s get real for a minute. It is a decent image, but not in same class as really good 43’ers, mostly due to lack of peak brightness, it’s pretty dark at max brightness. I’m the type of person who immediately gets into advanced settings to try to find best possible viewing. This TV can be “calibrated” for slight improvement compared to out of box, but not much. The settings are limited. It’s cheaply built, felt almost fragile coming out of box, it would probably crack the case with a minor drop. The little legs are plastic and screw into plastic fittings, not pre-threaded holes. The viewing angle is the worst I’ve seen of any TV, which I guess is fine if you will only ever see it from dead straight on. It is very lightweight. Sound was pretty good from built in speakers. Didn’t have it long enough to learn if sound was adjustable. I returned it because I’m more interested in image quality than cheapest possible price. If you want a bargain TV to see all the actors facial pores then go for it, if you want a nice TV with wide viewing angle and very nice image then look for a better, I.e. more expensive, alternative.

With our Cable provider making changes we found it the perfect time to upgrade a couple of TVs in the house. The selection of a TCL 43-inch set was a great addition to our home office space. The set is the right size for the office as it doesn't overpower the space. Color, sound and size are just what we needed.

This TV offers great value for it’s price. As someone who enjoys gaming, and watching movies I was happy to see that there were preset TV settings for gaming or watching movies. The TV offers free live television, including local and non-local news stations. It comes with an app store in which you could install your favorite entertainment apps from YouTube to HBO Max. Basically, it does everything a Roku does, but for a cheaper price! I had a Roku before I bought this TV, and I was surprised to see how much the Roku brand has gone up in price. There was another Roku 43” TV for around $50-$100 more! That’s simply an idiotic move to buy the Roku TV. I genuinely never heard of this brand before I took a trip to Best Buy. Not sure if it’s been around long or not, but either way it’s good quality for the price. If you want all the bells and whistles, then go for a higher end TV with better specs. Be prepared for that to cost more though. I’d say those who don’t care so much for the highest quality viewing experience, then this is the TV for you. I found it more than good enough from my watching and gaming experience! For the price, I give this TV 5 stars! I highly recommend this TV if you only want to spend $200 or so. I paid $213.99.

I bought this TV mostly because it was one of the cheaper ones in its class, but the lower price does not mean lower quality. It works great for streaming as well as video games and the picture is better than expected.

Great picture, pretty good sound, nice looking set. Was advised it had 'blank screen' capability but found out 'NOT' after set-up! Menu and Settings modes take a little getting used to; initially very confusing. Less than user-friendly remote control layout would definitely benefit from a backlight! Overall, 4/5 stars satisfied

It is a great TV for the money! I only took away 1 star because it's not as user friendly as the Samsung TVs over the years, and the fact that i can't even talk to someone from my local store, it goes directly to a call center (which I believe is overseas), and they seem like they're reading from a script and hard to understand. I ended up having a technician (which I'm grateful for) to help me finish setting it up, for something that I could have been talked through on the phone, so it took a month to get it working right, because that was the first opening they had. Ow that everything is working as it should, it is exceeding my expectations!

Set up for the TV was easy. The Color and sound are great!

An overall good TV for the money; decent looking for TV and casual gaming. Buikt in speakers are average. Google TV works well. Remote is plastic and somewhat light but feels good to use. Some unevenness in the screen’s backlighting is noticeable when solid colors are on screen, but this is uncommon.

This TV was such a great bargain. I cannot believe the quality and options for such a low price. This was a Christmas gift for my aunt. She is so happy. The picture quality is very clear and she has no problem connecting to Netflix and Amazon Prime. I highly recommend this TV to anyone considering it!

Great TV with a fantastic picture at a great price. Very easy to install, worked with my existing accessories. Have had no problems with the TV.

So I wanted a oled TV for my pa5 but oleds are expensive as heck. So I went to the cheaper route led tvs and if you are a student, someone who isn’t trying to brake the bank, or someone who just doesn’t care about tvs and the pictures quality then this tv is the way to go. When I’m playing games on my tv there’s some really good pictures quality especially for a led tv now it’s not oled quality but it’s still very good and for you don’t plan to upgrade you tv until you have a lot more money but you need a tv for watching movies or playing videos games this tv is the way to go I will probably be having this tv for like 3-4 years after that I’ll try to see what else is one the market but over all this is a really good started tv where you not going to get disappointed at all Over all 8/10

Only reason it's 4 stars is that it's a tiny bit slow for about 5min after powering on. Let it sit and it's fine, but I'm a tech guy so that matters - but just a little. I'd actually give it 4.5 stars but can't. Its a great smart TV for a good price. Display is clean and crisp and it cab het very dim if I'm trying to drift off to sleep listening to music of YT app.

I love the picture, the color is phenomenal and all the apps loaded up already is exactly what I was looking for. The only crappy thing about this tv was that some machine or person put a barcode sticker directly on the screen of the tv before packing it up. Who does that?! Its still kind of there!

I purchased a television on-line with Best Buy, which was an easy process. Unfortunately, the box was delivered damaged. I opened the box and the tv was damaged too. I wasn’t happy about that because I am older, the box was big and heavy and not easy to get to and in my car. I took it in stride and returned the damaged television back to the closest Best Buy store. The salesman there was so nice, but explained the tv brand I returned was out of stork at their store. He said you know for less than $10 more you can get a much better television. He showed me the TCL brand on the wall, so I could see how nice the picture was. I chose to spend a few more dollars and have been very happy with the TCL tv. I am not happy with shipping company Best Buy used to deliver though. That box was obviously damaged during shipment and still delivered it. I gave 5 stars because of my pleasant experience at the store and how happy I am with the TCL tv.

Very nice 43 inch TCL tv. Great quality in picture and sound. Would purchase again and highly recommend..It was on sale for a great price too. Only complaint is NO back light on the remote, it needs one. For this i give it a 4 instead of a 5 star rating.

This is a quality TV for the lower price tag. I have it on our deck and enjoy watching shows and playing video games. Easy to set up and enough inputs for our use. Buy it!

I absolutely love my 43 TCL Google TV. It was very easy to set up. Since I already have a Google account. It was no different than setting up a Android tablet or phone. The picture is fabulous as are the speaker's. Strongly recommend this tv. Frank TN.

I am very pleased with the quality and sound of this model. Im a first time buyer of this brand but for a budget friendly TV this model gives all the bells and whistles. I have always been favorable towards Samsung but TCL has found a new fan!!!!
