Great bang-for-buck TV that supports HDR, Dolby Vision in 4K. The interface is simple to use but I do have issue with connectivity at times; It's as if it knows when I'm about to sit down to watch a movie with food that it decides to disconnect from the internet. Other than that annoyance, the picture could be a little brighter. Having said that, for the price I think it's a great performer!

I needed to replace an old LCD TV that was in a built-in cabinet so I restricted by size. This TV fit perfectly. The physical dimensions combined with the reviews I had read of the TCL 5 series drew to this and I couldn't be happier. It's got a great picture and is easy to use. The newer version is a hair bigger and wouldn't fit in my cabinet so I had seek this TV.

I love the smart tv. It was easy to set up. The picture is great. No problems.

Still figuring out all the Roku features but picture quality is excellent. As good as some sets costing far more. Super thin and light. Not recommended but I hung it on my wall mount single handed with no problem. Be sure to check which HDMI input you use as only one (clearly marked) supports ARC.

I was looking to replace my bedroom TV for awhile now. After 10+ years my Sony LCD TV gave up. not wanting to break the bank but wanted 4K, I went with the TCL. I based my purchase on reviews on the digital trends website. While not as sharp as I believe it could be, it is a definite upgrade over my old Sony. also with Roku built in, I'm able to control the TV with my phone. no frills remote, but I have my TV.

Great looking TV at an affordable price. I need a replacement really quick after turning on my Vizio and hearing the pop of death. Very annoying. I honestly searched for the cheapest TVs I could find (thanks reddit) & this one stuck out like a sore thumb. Wife, my buddy, and even my mom have noticed a drastic picture change in a great way.

This TCL TV is way too underated. The quality of this TV should be ranked among the Samsung and Sony's but with a price that would stay within anyone's budget. The TV is easy to navigate and the picture in 4K is Incredible. The price and quality make the choice easy.

TLC Roku is a great TV for the price. Excellent picture. Easy to set up and easy to use remote. It was easy to hook up the cable connection using a HDMI cord and the sound went to my sound system using an optical connection. I turned off the TV's sound system. I am happy with the purchase and would recommend it to a friend

The color is excellent, especially when watching a show or movie in HD. The sound is also good. I highly recommend this television. In addition, the ROKU is a nice feature to already have installed on the television. I believe it took me and my daughter no more than 30 minutes to assemble and setup cable and other features.

It is clear that TCL has now become the TV to beat for combo of value and amazing picture. This is my second TCL purchase in about a month. There is no competitor that provides this quality at an amazing price. With inclusion of RokuTV as the OS, a great one, two punch. I can't wait for the RokuTV wireless speakers to hit the market in Oct.

My wife and I wanted to buy a second TV for our basement and when I went to looking I kept coming back to this one. It had a great picture, great looks, and best of all the right price. When I got it home I was actually a little more impressed as to how quick the TV works with wifi programming. Great TV, great looks, and great price!!!!!

Great size for a small to medium bedroom ! I upgraded from a LG 1080p LCD TV 39 Inch. This tv is great for modern consoles about .19 milli seconds of imput lag for gaming and has hdr which is great for regular ps4 since regular ps4 does hdr just not 4k. You do need a HDMI cable that can handle 4k to use her though.

I love this panel what a great solid piece of hardware with a beautiful picture 4k UHD and the Dolby Vision was one of the biggest things at CES. There will be tons of hardware rolling out for it but everything it comes with runs smoothly and excellent ! It is amazing for my PS4 really, really, amazing !!! im very happy !

This TCL - 49" Class LED 5 Series 2160p Smart 4K UHD TV with HDR Roku TV is the bomb! The size & color/brightness of the tv is perfect & most important affordable also the fact that it has the Roku installed is awesome & convenient especially if you don't have cable you can download free movies & free channels.

Purchased this TCL over the Samsung and LG because the specs were better, Picture was superior and price was much lower than the others. The Roku TV was an added feature that I was skeptical of at first but my wife loves it because she is able to access the HDMI outputs much easier from the main screen.

Don't know why so many of the "bigger" TV makers have abandoned the Roku platform for streaming, it's clearly one of the best if not THE best out there. The TV itself is terrific as well, the quality equals that of Samsung, it's easy to use and navigate, and the picture Quality is superb!

For the price, a pretty decent TV. It’s a little slow sometimes when you’re trying to use the remote to turn it on or off, or select something. And sometimes it has issues connecting to certain services (Netflix, Hulu) but that’s usually solved by turning it off and back on.

I'm very happy with my purchase. Was able to get it on sale. The 4K and UHD looks great. Love Roku and it works great with Alexa. I use Alexa to turn on and off and the TV turns my sound system on and off, too. The 5 series had better reviews than the 4 series and it has the Dolby video.
