This was a replacement TV for a Sony Smart TV that lost a pixel after a couple of years of usage.. you e got to love that GeekSquad Protection Plan. The Sony I had requested cake out of the box with a crack and I really wanted to get a new TV that weekend. This was listed as a comparable, although I wasn’t familiar with the brand. Easy plug and play, great sound if you aren’t using the sound bar or other speakers and a spectacular and clear picture. I’m impressed, and for the cost I’m looking to get another one for upstairs. My only hiccup is that because it’s a new brand I can’t find it on my Xfinity to pair with the remote, but I’m sure I will figure it out eventually. I watch everything from sports to whatever the wife likes (dramas and comedy) to cartoons for the kids and the screen is awesome all around.

This smart TV meets our needs perfectly. We have no complaints as to usage, picture quality or price. We mainly watch the news, British and other foreign show and some movies. It is a Roku TV which makes it easy to access Sling, Netflex and other channels.

It's been a long time since I've chosen to own a tv. It's probably been 20 or more years since I had a television at all. But, I also needed something that could double as a computer monitor so I didn't always have to be "all up in" my laptop's business. So far, this exceeds my expectations. The picture is great, and it's highly adjustable, for you picky snobs. The ROKU feature is really nice and SO much quicker than a ROKU stick! As I don't receive any programming via cable or airwaves, my internet connection is all I really need. I guess I can't really compare it to similar models, as I'm not a tv guy. But, I can say that it has an eye-popping display and very nice sound. I'm impressed that I paid less for this tv than I paid for my 27-inch CRT back in 1995.

needed a TV to fill an extra room. It was the perfect size for the room. great picture for the money, better than expected. easy to set up. ROKU has the best interface to stream with. overall a great TV for what i needed it for

I've had this television for over 3 months now. I was back and forth between an LG and a Samsung TV, until one day I got an email from Best Buy advertising this one. The price shocked me at only $350 while the other competitors were closer to $600. I looked for as many reviews that I could to find the flaw with the TV and the only "issue" was the sound quality. Though with all the slim TVs these days, a sound bar or system is a must. Playing with the included Dolby App truly shows off the color quality of the set, but even regular HD shows display without any artifacts or blockiness. Pros: 1. Has both HDR10 & Dolby Vision. 2. Built in Roku TV OS 3. Enough HDMI ports. (3 HDMI port is the minimum any TV should have) Cons: 1. Sound bar or system is a must have.

My three year old son broke the 55” TCL I had and I bought this one. This one is much better as it has Dolby video. What that means is that is has much more vivid colors and darker blacks than the one my son broke. I’d say only buy a TCL if it is a series 5 or up.

Love this tv! Especially with built in roku! Very convenient and easy to use. Good color, clear. Would definitely recommend. You don’t have to buy roku stick with it already built in. Am a satisfied customer. And price was good also.

The price point for this TV can't be beat, really. Works well with an Xbox One X, so far anyway. 4K content looks great, very little input lag, good response times. Viewing angles aren't great, so keep that in mind. Features the typical suite of Roku apps, which is very nice. The Roku features are nice and easy to use, but they do get a bit laggy at times. App lag only seems to occur when the TV talks to the Roku mothership over the Internet to do app updates. If you don't use Roku or connect this TV to the Internet / WWW you probably won't see this lag. For the folks who like to calibrate their TVs, this one's an odd one, to me anyway. You can't use the available TV controls to calibrate it, you have to use the Roku app from a mobile handset, smartphone, etc. Mobile handset / smartphone app seems to have a full-featured set of calibration tools. All in all, excellent TV for the price.

I purchased the 5 series TCL 55" and 49" for my home. Great pictures! Both are easy to use, integrates well with my soundbars and with the built in Roku allows me to operate everything with one remote. Perfect!

First off, the ease of use for this TV is simplified with the small and easy to use Roku remote. The picture is great for the price. Having 4K and a 120 refresh rate is pretty impressive for the price point.

I am really liking this tv, and bought a second 55" version of it a week later as well. I use the Sling TV app on Roku a lot and have an AirTV 2 on my network so I can DVR programs to playback later. The picture is sharp and crisp. It was very easy to hook up. My only wish is that it had more than 3 HDMI ports, but that is okay. I have the sound hooked up by optical port to my 5.1 surround receiver and it really works out nice. It does not have component jacks so my older DVD needed to be adapted. So far I love the features and picture on this TV - and the price was really great too!

This TV is really nice, especially for the price. The fact that it has HDR and Dolby Vision is amazing. I do wish it had local dimming, and I know the higher model does, but I needed a TV of this size and the higher model doesn't come smaller than 55".

This is a beautiful TV. It was easy to set up and the picture is absolutely beautiful. I've got it hooked up to a Yamaha 5.2 channel home theater system and it's like being inside a movie theater. I love it.

Picture was awesome and easy to set up! I was leaning toward a Samsung TV. But for the extra price this TV is well worth it and video games look awesome on it.

Purchased this for parents as replacement/upgrade for bedroom tv. They are pleased with purchase. Picture quality & sound for bedroom is great. Setup was really easy. They have no complaints.

For the price, totally worth it. For someone who isn't necessarily super tech-savvy or picky for that matter, it more than satisfies. Actually happier with this one than my former Samsung 7 series.

This tv is great. Having the Roku builtin is a great feature. The picture is outstanding and sound quality is much better than I expected. The tv was on sale for $350 and it was well worth the money.

Was skeptical buying this TV but after the sales associate told me this was up and coming I decided to buy and could not be happier . For the price the picture quality is top notch easy to set up within 10 min up and running .

Easy to set and use TCL Roku TV. Great picture and color with easy to make adjustments. Extra bonus is the sound feature that lets you set to various categories. Just what we were looking for!

Bought this because I needed a bigger tv in my bedroom...a 4K smart tv. I didn’t want to spend the big bucks like in my living room....and the more I read the reviews, this one was the better value. It is easy to navigate thru, easy to set up to the internet, and easy to add a speaker to it. I added a Klipsch speaker to it and the sound it awesome...usually tv speakers are not very loud and I want to watch movies and such. The picture is clear, sharp colors, dark backgrounds and sports on it look good, make you want to reach out and touch them sometimes. Thinking of getting another one along this line soon.
