Roku TCL 50" 4K

Gave out on me in a year

The light burned out and it was just as expensive to fix it as getting a new tv. I am not one to watch tv every day, and i take care of my things so i was gravely disappointed when this happened.

Screen stops after a year

Of course that’s past the warranty. TCL clearly has an issue with these TVs. There’s lots of forum entries describing the same problem. The video goes out. You can hear sound but there’s no video. Turning off, unplugging, factory reset, nothing restores it. At power up the screen flashes up for a split second and then remains black. I thought I was getting a great deal, but now I need a new TV only about a year later. AVOID THIS TV

Quit working after 1 year

Cost to repair was more than the TV cost. We're replacing with a better brand.
