I purchased this TCL Class-4 50" TV to replace an aging 43" 720P Sharp Aquos purchased in 2008. The picture is bright and clear. Slightly uneven around the perimeter, but not unexpected at this price point. The sound is disappointing. The two small down-firing speakers sound hollow. My old Sharp has four front facing speakers, and sounded significantly better. I subsequently purchased a Vizio M21d-H8 sound bar to go along with the TCL TV. Much better.

TCL is a great TV. I have one in every bedroom. The picture is very clear. Adding other networks is so easy.

I bought this for my parents to replace an old 1080p Vizio and they absolutely love the quality and ease of use of the built in Roku functionality.

I am stickler when it comes to buying electronics! I compare, read reviews and compare those, learn about the features and compare those and I just plain take my time. Well, this time I was put in a quick decision making situation. My TV went out and fortunately I had a warranty. On the phone with a Geek Squad member with the alternative of getting a credit or finding something of equal value to my old set. No shopping time so I was looking at sets in my Best Buy app and chose this one while on the phone with the agent. The picture on this is one of the best I have seen! Not even at this price point, it is great period! Sound is okay, not as good as my last set but on par with the one before. Fine because I have a sound bar. It would still be okay if I didn’t have one. Very easy to use. Not a huge fan of the design of the remote. I have big hands so I tend to bump the mute button often. But I would HIGHLY recommend this TV! It’s fantastic!

My TV screen turned black for a month now and I haven’t even had it for Three years. My feeling are hurt. It mounted and I have to go through this process all over again. Sad Not to mention I often had a problem with the sound.

Tv works great! I like the roku feature a lot. Would recommend to anyone.
