TV works great and looks great, especially for the price I snagged it for. Only con I have experienced is it was really slow ou of the box but after some tinkering it has become a lot smoother experience.

This is an excellent TV. The image is great and the sound was better than I expected. This was great for my bedroom.

This was a very nice TV, the color and picture were bright and vivid. It would be perfect if you were looking for something affordable for watching tv, movies and light console gaming. However it ended up not being what we were looking for. If you are an avid gamer I would suggest going with the qm6k instead as it supports 1440p 120hz.

Got this tv to replace a monitor i was using and honestly it was a great investment. My old monitor was a 1080p screen and using this makes things look so much better. I use it to watch shows, play games and stream. Very bright and high resolution. Woukd 100% recommend this tv for anyone thats looking for a cheap price and looking for great quality.

For the money this was an excellent buy. It has great sounds for different viewing options and I love being able to change the colors and getting TCL+ was a big bonus as they have over 250 channels of movies and tv. The color is very vibrant and it's a great television. Delivery was absolutely well taken care of when delivered.

Overall it’s a decent TV. The picture quality is very good. But this isn’t a “high end” model. So, the options for picture/display settings aren’t as advanced as what I’ve seen from YouTube videos on how to adjust the picture. I am unable to manually adjust the auto ambient levels. FYI, don’t play video games on this TV with the room lights off. The sensor will cause the screen to go from bright to dark based on how much the screen itself causes the light to be brighter in your room. I got a headache trying to play EA Hockey on this tv with the room lights turned off. The screen got brighter and darker just from moving my player up and down the ice. It took me several hours to find out why this was happening. I have almost all the “dynamic” settings turned off now and I keep the lights on when playing games. I never had this problem with a Sony. But again, this is a lower end model. Do some research on how to make the changes on picture settings. Companies dumb-it-down and a lot of people don’t realize that they don’t have to settle for the manufacturer’s settings. Another issue is, I’ve had it go “black screen” a couple times. This occurred when swapping inputs back and forth quite a few times while playing video games and wanting to change back to satellite. It feels like the computer processor got overloaded from having to think too hard and just “timed out”. Resetting the TV resolved this. But is this going to get worse? I’m waiting to find out and is why I bought a 3yr warranty. Currently DirecTv does not have a TCL code for this model. I have to use remotes for channel changing and then for volume. It’s frustrating. It is great to have all the options for video inputs and sound outputs. This was a major factor in my purchase. Hope this helps for someone who is considering purchasing this model.

As everyone knows, often times you get what you pay for. This tv will NOT compete with the likes of sony or samsung, but in the price range it does just fine. Compared to other entry to med level tvs, this one performs really well. I have mine eqiupped with an apple tv because i just hate how slow the internals are with a tv like this, so i can only speak on quality. The picture is good, but not great. For the price, id say its worth. Especially on sale

Great quality picture for the price. Easy to program and really enjoy the ease of all the smart features/apps. Highly recommend for someone that’s needs an all in one tv set up.

Great TV - after calibrating then adding personal tweaks. Rtings suggestions helped a lot. Initially, I was like its just okay but calibrating or changing settings helps quite a bit. Remember, its a budget model so have reasonable expections. That said, I am delighted to have the tv. Yes, it has its limitations but cannot be beat for its $199 pricepoint. Thanks TCL/Best Buy !!

I can't believe the value of this TV. I grabbed the 50-inch TCL Q5 for the $180 Black Friday price, and the picture looks superb. The brightness and contrast are fantastic, making everything look crisp and clear. It honestly gives you an experience close to an OLED TV without the painful price tag. Great service from Best Buy and an amazing product from TCL.

Great TV for the Money. Found this one on sale. Installed this Brand Recently which had a decent picture so that drew me to consider the brand for future purchases.

The TCL tv has a great picture, is super thin, and standard inputs for quick setup. The best feature is the built-in Fire TV. The remote provides direct access to features that you have to toggle through with a Fire Stick. And with my Fire TV Recast DVR the combination is fantastic. Its too bad that Amazon discontinued the Recast instead of adding the ability to record streamed programming. Great tv good sale price.
