Good picture, good value
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good picture, good value. I like Android TV better than Roku personally, so the TV was a good choice for me.

Excellent on a clearance sale, okay at full price
|Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent on clearance. Wouldn't recommend the default interface. Would definitely pair with a chromecast or roku, combined with a sale price absolutely a steal. Color tuning out of the box is odd but can be tuned to look decent. Again at a sale price it's perfectly acceptable. Pair it with a cheaper soundbar as well, speakers are meh. Passable but nothing mind blowing.

Amazing tv for the price
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We got this as a black friday deal to replace a 9 year old tv in the living room. I couldnt believe the price either. Since christmas time its been going strong, great picture quality and ease of use. I had never heard of this brand before so i got the 2 year geek squad protection for cheap as a back up but if someone told me this was a sony or samsung tv i wouldnt be able to tell the difference. Love the remote too with minimal buttons

Great tv, don't be afraid of the android name.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The TCL - 55" Class 4 Series LED 4K UHD Smart Android TV is a great value for a product that could be sold for much much more. i still do not understand the differences between an android smart tv and a regular tv because this one does everything that your usual 4k tv does just at a much better price point. I can use all the connections of my previous tv, cable, appletv, prime etc.

Great smart features and gods for the price
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wonderful TV. I really have used a lot of”smart TVs” and came down to liking Roku for its responsive interface and price. Apple is just apple and works well. This TV hav android tv and it works great better than expected , I still expect new smart TVs especially at this price point to not have responsive controls but perhaps this isn’t the case any longer because this TVs features work well. The picture is indicative of its price and expected.

Terrific Value
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not top of the line, does not have all the features, Android TV is not bad but not as good as Roku in my opinion but at least it has HBOMax which Alexa does not. But 4K 55 inch for the Black Friday price of $199 is a steal. I wouldn't get this for my primary home theatre system (though it is still pretty good and use it if you are on a budget) If you need a TV in another room, Fantastic deal and would highly recommend if you can get it on sale.

Nice Android TV for the price!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first TCL TV ever, and so far, so good. I knew I was buying a budget TV, so I'm not expecting OLED quality. For the price, it has a nice image and good build. Also, I'm surprised at how fast Android TV works out of the box. I was worried that they would put in a super slow processor, but it's fast enough for what I need. I ended up connecting a TCL soundbar, and paired with the TV right away. Overall, I'm pleased.

The most bang for your buck
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The reason I purchased this TV is that it was rated as one of the best TVs it's size with Android TV built-in. The picture quality is awesome but the thing that made me and my wife pull the trigger on it was the fact that the Android TV allows us to wirelessly connect our phones and pretty much show each other any video in any format. I'm not talking about using 2 different apps together in mean I got one cat button and it's on my TV

Good TV for those on a budget
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this TV on an AMAZING pre-Xmas deal. Wasn’t planning on buying a TV but couldn’t turn it down (current TV was from 2012). It’s a good TV- not great. For the money, though, it’s hard to beat. The Android TV interface is “ok”. I’m used to Roku’s, and find that a much better option (there’s also no Spectrum TV app for Android TV, so I can’t watch our live TV on this TV). The off angle viewing is NOT good. Straight on, it’s very good. Motion creates some odd color issues that I can’t really explain (it almost “mixes” colors together where there are drastic color differences- a face next to a bright color is an example- coupled with motion), 4K looks good, but I haven’t dialed in the settings for it yet- almost too bright for my liking. Remote is way too small and gets lost very easily amongst couch cushions. Again, as a spare TV (extra bedroom or bar area) it would be great. If you’re looking for a MAIN viewing TV, I’d spend some extra money and get a Roku TV, and maybe bump up to the TCL 6-series or Hisense H9.

Great for the Price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We were looking for a budget entry into 4K HDR and have been leaning toward the TCL 4 series. This is very similar to the Roku version, just with a different user interface (Android TV). This version had a much bigger sale so we went this route. We are perfectly happy with the UI (Android TV). It loads up quickly and does what we need it to do. If you are majorly into the Roku UI you might want to go that route instead but no complaints here. Otherwise, great panel at a super low price.

Good brand. Worth the price.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I bought this brand because of how much it’s improved since I first seen it on the market I currently have one in my bedroom so I bought this one of my parents because they didn’t have a smart TV and only had a 42 inch at the time so this was a big upgrade for them not just because of the size but because it’s a smart TV as well and it’s easy to navigate especially for all my parents because they’re older.
