TCL TV
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like my TCL but sometimes I have to unplug it an restart it because it doesn't always obey the commands from the remote. Not sure what that's about.

Our TCL television
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Our TCL television works perfectly. The picture is perfect, set up was quick and easy. The streaming services work very well. Paired the television easily with my internet service, can control the television from either my iPad or iPhone. Very happy with the purchase, the price was an added bonus.

Ended up returning...
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We got the TV when on sale for $250 for our patio area . I liked the idea of the TV having Android TV, as we use NVIDIA Shields with our LG OLEDS. The first night, I was pleased with the image quality for the price, but by the time the second/third night rolled around, something changed. The picture appeared dull and grainy, as if looking through a dirty car window on a bumpy road to watch tv. Watching the World Series was unwatchable due to the aforementioned issue, plus the motion was a jittery mess (I know it's only a 60Hz panel, but it's the worst I have seen). I tried several inputs, apps, and a factory reset with the same results. Also, many of the apps did not work properly. Per VUDU, the VUDU app is not registered for this TV yet and hence only plays in SD, not even HDX. Movies Anywhere app played HD, not 4k. Google Movies would play 4K, however, if the movie was Dolby Vision, it would try and play Dolby Vision, not HDR, only and give a purple screen since this TV does not support DV. Watching the original Fast and Furious on Google, the image would stutter during fast action, as if it couldn't keep up (the TV was hard wired, no Wi-Fi). For a positive, the sound was actually quite good on the TV and the remote was nice too with Google Assistant. We probably got a bad unit, but other reviewers are having issues as well, giving us pause on trying another. The local stores were out of stock, so we ended up returning it for different brand.

Good TV in this pricepoint
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First TV we received was defective, had a line running vertically on the screen. Contacted Best Buy immediately and replacement was pretty seemless. TV is great quality for the money. Using it in bedroom and it has good color and sharpness.

R.I.P. my old plasma.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this phone to replace my 46" Panasonic plasma TV which died. The TCL picture is brighter and the colors are more vibrant. Also the new TV is so much lighter than the old one I didn't even need help installing it.I bought it on sale saved a bunch of money and got a great deal.

Best Buy this year. Literally
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I heard mixed reviews about this brand but I must say for a novice who can’t really see the difference in HD UHD OR 4K etc I love this TV. great value. I wouldn’t have bought a TV if the size and price were not so great. Talked about it so much my best friend bought 1. So far no regrets

Great purchase for the price
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Tv works great and has a beautiful display! It’s the perfect size, too. I love the Home Screen layout with easy access to all apps, and lots of downloadable options. Easy set-up and simple to use. The remote makes use easier as well with a button for Netflix and YouTube right on it.

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this television for my parents to replace a really outdated one that they had. They've had it for about a month and seem to like it cuz they haven't complained lol. Other family members said it looked great. Bottom line: Looks great and very affordable so I'd def recommend it.

Great find !
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very impressed by this tv! I got this on a Black Friday special for $199. Lucky me! I wanted to upgrade my kids from a 32” but wasn’t looking to spend a ton. I looked at the reviews on this model and they were fair but given the exceptional savings I decided to give it a shot. Wow! I really disagree with those other reviews. They mentioned the lack of brightness of the unit- WRONG! This tv has beautiful bright warm colors with zero light areas. I was most impressed by the sound though. This tv rocks! Full rich sound! I have units from other brands that are significantly more expensive and don’t come close to the sound quality and volume this unit has. I have to keep telling my kids to turn it down. Lol! The load screens are a bit slow and that would be my only problem with the unit. If I had paid $400 for this tv I would have docked it a star for the screen load time. But honestly, I’m so happy with this purchase! If you can get it for less than $250 consider it a steal!

Very Good Deal!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought on a black friday sale, this was a hard to beat value. Picture quality is great. Sound is ok. Remote control is small and lacks functions. As far as Android on a tv, well it function about like Android on anything else.....Great!

Nice TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great value for money. Forced to replace our TV on New Year's Day when it decided it wasn't going to work that morning. Same day pick up at Best Buy was our solution. Our first smart TV (former Roku users) and very simple to use. Picture quality, once adjusted, is very good.

Good
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had the TV for about a month. So far so good. Has a decent picture quality. I do enjoy the Android interface. There are a plethora of apps and software available for it. I've used it with my PS4 pro and had pretty good results. Sound quality on the speakers is understandably not the best. But passable for a TV at this price point. I use a sound bar for my audio (side note on that, it is impossible to get the sound synced up with the speakers so turn the volume all the way down on the television if you're using a sound bar) All in all, for the price point it's a great TV. If you're comparing it to other TVs that are more expensive then stop doing so. Fit and finish isn't going to be as nice as something that costs twice as much or more. We shall see if it holds up against the test of time, hoping so

Purchase on sale, older model
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got it on sale runs 4K at 60 Hz no problem, great for next gen gaming. However, does not support HDMI 2.1. Therefore, does not run 4K at 120 Hz. Other than that, great tv. HDR picture mode dims the screen according to picture brightness/contrast when watching tv, so I use vivid. Also has a low-latency gaming mode. If you plug a cable box into an hdmi port while the tv isn’t on that input, you won’t be able to access the Home Screen. Unplugging the cable box from the tv solves that problem. Make sure to plug the cable box’s HDMI into the desired port while the tv is on the corresponding input. Also very easy to install onto a wall mount.

A great budget 4k TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great entry point for someone getting into 4K TVs or looking to add another 4K TV to their home without going over budget. Android TV made downloading apps and signing into various streaming services extremely simple and the interface is straightforward, quick and responsive. Pre-set screen options can help fine tune the viewing experience to the type of media you're watching (sports, movies, games, etc), guaranteeing a great picture. Depending on space and the size of the room you'll be in, I would recommend looking into a soundbar or speaker setup as the native speakers may be a little quieter than what you're used to. Screen brightness may be a sticking point for others as the default settings did seem a little dim, but there are more than enough options to address any issues someone may have.

Good entry level TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great TV for $200. The TV is a 55 inch Android TV that displays 4K resolution. A good TV for the price. Chromecast works excellently. Bluetooth works well. New apps can be downloaded from the Play store. Remote and inbuilt mic work well. Google assistant works well and you can ask it to play songs/videos on YouTube and other apps like Spotify, Amazon etc. Picture is good, the blacks are not as black as you would ideally want but you only notice that when you're setting menus and stuff. Wifi works great. Sound is loud enough. Setup is easy and best buy delivery is great. For a person who doesen't have much experience with TV screens, this is a welcome surprise at a very low price. I've owned this TV for two weeks now and it is going good. I prefer to keep the Android features of Chromecast and Bluetooth versus a Roku version that misses these. If you're a TV connoiseur, get some other TV. If you need a cheap 4K TV, get this one and enjoy the great picture.

TCL Android 55"
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great price. Nice looking tv. Okay picture. Interface decent. Remote control needs a light up feature to make buttons easier to see. You have to point remote right at the tv to get it to work. Overall good for the price

Pretty good picture; little ability to fine tune.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While the picture is, in general, a good picture, it is not near the caliber of more expensive TVs, especially in the area of blacks. If you are not overly picky, this has a really nice picture. However, after using Rokus over the years for streaming, the Android interface seems awkward and a bit clumsy. Easily fixes with a Roku device installed on one of the HDMI ports. The other thing is the menu for adjusting various aspects of picture and audio is quite limited with meager adjustments to fine tune not available. Heck, just to find some simpler setting can be a challenge. The owner's manual that comes with is little to no help, and the online manual is generic and not overly helpful. Those points aside, a good, quality picture for a really good price.

Great product for the price
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My first chrome TV and I love it. I was looking for a 50 inch on a budget and ended with a 55 inch at better cost. Picture is excellent. No time at all to set up. And easy to navigate, something I feared since I'm not a technical person. I love my purchase

Great budget 4k Panel
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had this TV for 3 months now and it has been great for the cost. Perfect size for my small college dorm living room, and still easy to move and transport in a standard size car. Lots of great 4K content now on many platforms made it totally worth the cost.
