I bought this as a gift for my mother. I didn't want to get anything too fancy or hi tech because it would be beyond her. This was easy to hook up and works great in her home. Loved the size and the price was hard to beat.

The price i paid is worth for such a big TV, but still it has it’s own Con’s !!! First thing first there is no “Mute” on the remote. Next the “built-in ChromeCast” isn’t great it always lags with the casting device audio goes first then followed by delayed video. Then the picture quality it isn’t that great for a 4k and i see most likely HD clarity. Audio sometimes did fluctuated real high like all up-to 100 on some channels. But later with few settings i don't see that happen again. And when you switch between apps suddenly then you can still hear the voice from previous playing and running the video in the background.

Got this on a black Friday special so awesome price for this TV. Great value. Basic remote and basic features but Android based TV has decent amount of apps. Not as much as Roku but still pretty good. Picture quality is good and sound quality is good as well.

Easy setup, fast out of the box display for wall mounting, and quick menu preferences to complete the process. Good picture quality and sound to fill a large room, better in a small room due to speaker location at bottom of TV if you don't have a sound bar.

Overall TVquality is great, light weight and great sound and picture. Only critique would be how the legs attach are difficult to connect. They are a bit of a hassle and easy to damage so be careful during assembly.

I purchase this TV for my sister. This is her first 4K or smart TV she ever owned and she loves it. The TV was very easy to set up. It had a lot of apps she wanted and for what she’s getting the price is great.

This is my first non Samsung smart TV and I am really impressed. Picture quality is great and it was super easy to install/setup. I think the 2 best things about bit are the ease of use of the streaming menu and the fact that it's an Android/Google OS.

I recommend this tv to everyone. The ease of use is a major selling point. So many smart TVs have a convoluted menu screen, but this one is straightforward and a breeze to navigate. Add in the absolutely stunning picture quality and this is a must-buy.

I purchased the TCL 49S405 model back in 2017 and have been very happy with it, but was looking to upgrade to a larger screen size with the upcoming launch of the new gaming systems. With this TV going on sale for less than what I paid for the last TV and having nothing but good experiences with TCL this was a no brainer. However, reading the reviews on this latest model and some of the sound issues had me concerned. I have a similar model for my living room in Roku, but this is the Android version, so I figured why not? The Best Buy curbside pickup went great and setting up the TV was easy. The only problem was I had no sound. Updated the OS via wired Ethernet, still no sound. Tried HDMI inputs, still no sound. Brought the TV back to Beat Buy for an easy exchange. Brought the new TV home and set it up. Again, no sound. I did hook up HDMI to it with a couple devices and had sound. I did the OS update and still had no sound in the menus, but did have sound from the apps (YouTube, Netflix). Since I have sound for my devices and apps, I’m not going to return it for no menu sounds. This is a new model and it looks like there are some quality control issues in the production of these. I would wait on a purchase, unless you don’t mind getting an unfinished product or one that you have to exchange.

Great tv, bought it for our daughter and she loves it. Easy set up and easy to use. Picture quality is perfect. I recommend this product and love the customer service we received from Best Buy.

this is my first purchase of the TCL brand and I am very happy with my purchase. The TV was easy to set up and the picture and sound are really good. I had originally bought a sound bar but I was surprised that the tv is ok without it. Great purchase

For price-quality it is a fine tv. The image is great in the apps, easy to install and use. The controller slim. For video game you must to play with the blacks for a good quality and its fine but not the best. I recommend it for movies and series

Very nice TV! Purchased as a gift for someone else and set it up for them. Android TV takes some getting used to, but once you have the hang of it the software is actually pretty nice! the TV is clear and is what you would expect from 4k UHD.

For the price and size its a great tv. Picture is good also for entry level and being an android TV I can hook my phone up to it with ease. The menu is easy to guide thru as well. Overall very happy with tv

Excellent value - easy setup and works well. My only "problem" is that I unintentionally knock the Netflix or YouTube button on the remote and it [very promptly!] takes me to the app, and I have to switch back - almost too easy to do that!

Great picture and features for the price. The Android interface is simple, feature rich, and syncs flawlessly with my phone. Setup was simple with no issues. So far it's working like a charm. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one.

I purchased this tv for myself as an early Christmas gift and I love it!! The picture is so clear and I love the ease of operation. My two uncles are now going to purchase one for themselves. Best gift I could have given myself hands down.

Purchased this on the Black Friday special. Very happy with it so far. Setup was quick and easy. Good picture and fairly intuitive to navigate. Wasn't familiar with this brand, but can't beat the price for a TV this size. So far, so good!

Didn't have spectrum app so i had to install each app for every network and log in manually, but the picture is great and so was the price. Overall I'm satisfied just wish it had the spectrum app.

Picture quality is great for the price range. However, the remote control is beyond frustrating and is seemingly unresponsive to 50% of buttons pushed. Additionally, in the middle of streaming smart app services, the tv will freeze and claim that there is no network connectivity, despite being right next to the router and all other devices in the household have zero network connection issues at that time. The only way I've been able to reconnect to the network is to do a full power down and restart every time this issue happens, which is quite frequently.
