Great tv. Love the quality of the picture. Only reason I gave four stars is it had a bit of a lag and the remote has to be pointed directly to the tv for it to work.

Excellent for the price - this was a chromecast version - worked well except could not stream Disney plus. Picture is very good, Sound more than adequate - makes for a perfect bedroom TV. This is my third TCL TV.

Great tv for the money. The picture quality is good, and the smart tv functions work well. The only cons are that it can be laggy sometimes, and I wish it had more hdmi ports.

Lightweight, good picture and fairly low cost. Pretty easy to mount to the wall and I haven't had any issues with it so far. Even came with an adapter for the old RWY hookups which was an unexpected surprise!

Great TV for price, panel quality is questionable

It is not advertised but: a) it comes with 11GB of HD Space to use as a DVR. b) it has a direct lit panel array c) 3 HDMI's with an e-ARC d) voice controlled remote e) WIFI and Bluetooth enabled Best if you wall mount it or keep it on a stand (don't move it much). Material is cheap plastic but that doesn't affect the panel or screen quality. Cable management is excellent with how the back of the TV is designed. Really good, sharp quality picture. Don't use standard TV settings.. Google what settings work best for your tv... look at what the reviews say. You may get a panel that will go bad or show all white. This happened on day 3 of ownership. I swapped it out and then it happened again. 1st time the panel died, 2nd time the panel color / contrast turned white on all channels. The Best Buy guy said because of how TV's are delivered to the store, they've had a lot of tv's delivered damaged to the store and have swapped out a lot of tv's. Swap it out immediately instead of going through TCL warranty. Online reviews of TCL warranty are horrible. Best part of Android, it is like you on on your laptop or cellphone... download apps and configure your own view On the flip side, I encountered issues connecting to my soundbar even after turning on CEC. Can't beat the price - I got it for $212 including taxes. Though I went through 2 swap outs and CEC issues. Will keep until 2nd generation OLED comes out and cheaper next year. Good quality for price. Lastly,

Wow amazed! Picture quality is great, sound is good too for me. All this especially for the price I got it on sale, and I got a really good deal for the price of $250 by black friday. I was really skeptical of the brand TCL as I have never had a TCL TV before, but I am very impressed with this budget unit. The Android user interface has all the apps I need/want especially with it having HBO Max, which Roku doesn't have, and the Android TV interface is simple and intuitive to use. Another favorite feature would be that the TV has bluetooth, so I can connect my BT headphones to watch TV at night without disturbing others. I definitly would recommend this tv as a great budget alternative compared to other big brand names!

This TV is amazing for the price. Android TV, too?? much better than Roku. love it. NOT a hard-core > 60hz screen or anything. you get what you pay for. def worth it, though. keep in mind the short power cable.

I purchased this TV as an early black Friday special for $200. As this was going to be a master bedroom TV, I did not expect much, nor was I looking for top of the line. After an easy unboxing and setup, I dived in watching Rogue One on Disney+. I was immediately blown away by the picture quality. The colors were deep, rich, and lifelike with no discernable motion blur during the action scenes. Sound quality was also above expectations with clear sound even at low levels. This TV rivals my much more expensive VIZIO P Series in my living room at a fraction of the price.

We had the TCL Roku TV for a few years, and decided to try out the TCL Smart Android TV since it was the newer model. Screen quality received praise among the household (although I can't see the difference). The remote isn't as user friendly as Roku's. I can see where the manufacturer tried to combine features so there aren't too many buttons on the device, but it takes some time to get used to, so mixed feelings on that. I do like the recommendations featured on the home screen for each app. You can go straight to the episode/movie without searching for it. Overall, it's worth a try.

Nice picture in a budget TV with some UI quirks

I bought this TV when it was on super-sale and it is well worth the price paid. I'm not quite the customer that needs the latest and greatest when it comes to televisions but I do expect a quality picture, decent software, a number of inputs, etc. This TV is obviously not top of the line but it does have an excellent picture for its price range. I am on the fence on the Android TV experience (having come off a number of Samsung TVs) and am not totally sold on it (not to mention Google's track record, remember Google TV -- not many people do!). That said, Android does bring a few options not every TV will have (think Steam Link, some Android games etc). The TV does have some quirks that I would like to mention: 1. The TV speaker cannot be turned off. If you, like me, have your TV hooked up to a receiver you will have to lower the volume to 0 and hope the mute icon stays hidden -- it likes to pop up when watching YouTube. 2. There are WAY too many button presses to get to the EPG, I cannot imagine why there's not a button for this? This is dumb. 3. It asks me every time I turn it on if I want to open the USB stick I have plugged in. I probably did something wrong here and haven't taken the time to change it. The TV does have a limited DVR functionality in that you can use the attached USB stick to pause up to 90 minutes of live TV which is a nice bonus feature I didn't know about. Again, the UI is clunky. I would recommend you use HDMI audio return channel with whatever audio system you might add, it seemed to play a bit nicer than the TOSLink optical out but that may be my setup. I have yet to do any gaming on this TV but I suspect it will hold up to my needs there, I don't play fast twitch competitive online games. So, all in all, the TV is a great value with a nice picture (after adjusted color & brightness and turning off the fancy image processing) but it does suffer
