I'm flat-out amazed by the size and picture quality of this 55" TCL Roku TV, especially for the price. Picture quality has improved substantially over the past few years down to where even the entry-level TVs have stunning picture quality and this less-than-$500 TCL TV is one the best examples of that. I'm very impressed, not only with the picture quality of this TCL TV, but also the Roku program that controls the TV. The interface is easy, intuitive, and fast with almost no lag-time between pushing a button and getting the results requested. If you can't find something to watch in a channel lineup this extensive, you just aren't trying. This TCL/Roku TV is light enough to mount comfortably on a wall, as I did in my bedroom, and thin enough that it almost looks like a picture or a window instead of a TV. The QLED tech that makes up the display is bright, clear, and stunning with brightness so bright you sometimes have to shade your eyes and blacks that enhance the picture quality. I am more than satisfied with this TV and my only regret is not buying a 75-incher instead of the 55-inch model.

I bought the TCL 55” TV from Best Buy nearly 3 years ago, and it’s still going strong. The picture quality is impressive—sharp, vibrant, and perfect for movies and sports. Setup was easy, and the smart features work smoothly. For the price, it’s been a fantastic investment brought it in offer. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a reliable and affordable TV!

I've had the TV for a few weeks. Love the vibrant colors and theater like picture quality. I wish the remote could be reprogrammed for the most used apps rather than be preprogrammed for apps that will not be used. Adding a numbers pad to the remote would make app registering and sign in faster and easier. Otherwise, a great TV for price.

All my tvs are samsung except for my bedroom one which is this tcl. The picture is great. My only complaint is the angle viewing. If you are watching this tv on an angle, you might have a problem. Its in our bedroom, so we are right in front of it.

One of the best TV's I've ever owned. Clarity while playing a PS5, streaming a show from any service, the picture looks tremendous in any format. Dolby Vision really comes through watching movies on Max, and the sound is wonderful. If we get a second TV, I would want this one but larger.

Honestly the only bad thing about this tv is the lack of 120 fbs, other than that the picture is amazingly nice for the price point, sound is good!!

It was a good price and has a good picture, but there are a couple of gripes that keep me from giving it five stars. 1. It has some creepy ad-tracking stuff on by default. I know it can be turned off in the menu, but should that be opt in instead of opt out? Seeing a button prompt for more information when a commercial comes on is weird. 2. My sound bar, Chromecast with Google TV and the TCL don't always play nice. It seems to be how the HDMI handshakes happen. It's a coin flip whether I have to restart the Chromecast to get the sound to work. It's not a problem on my other TV, so the only point of commonality is the TCL TV making the HDMI Handshake differently.

Good picture, although blacks are a bit muddled, Good price. Don't expect to plug your accessory a/v cables directly into the tv. It requires an adapter that although the manual says is included, it's not. TCL customer service nicely told me that the manuals can't cover every tv correctly, and I could by an adapter at most any store. I had to order one, as no stores in the town carried it. Also, I've had the set for a little under a month and have had the Roku to freeze at least 5 times and have had to cycle power using the Roku menu to get it to work properly.

Great TV for the price. Very bright picture in contrast to a similarly priced Samsung TV I wound up returning. Great second tier TV for a bedroom or den. Easy interface and has my local tv provider (spectrum) app available. Would highly recommend.

I've had the TV for a few months now and am very satisfied. The picture quality is excellent; colors are bright and vivid. At this price point, I think I've have a great TV. I've had no problems and am very happy with this television.

I love the picture quality and the control friendly remote. Set up was very easy and adding my Xbox to the TV was a breeze. This is the perfect television for me since I mostly stream and play games on it. Love It!!

This TV has surprised me above and beyond for what I paid for it, is an excellent TV that is customazible as far as how you want your image to be. The image is clear even thought there's some glare when is light hits the screen but that's how my TV is set up at my apartmen, close to a balcony window. It has the option to use the HDMI with HDR2 for gaming but haven't used it yet since in still waiting on my PS5. Had this TV for over 3 months now and I can say that has most of the apps that I use including crunchy roll for anime so I'm happy about the selection, also has the option of watching live TV, sound is clear and in my opinion if you live in an apartment sound is clear and no need for a sound bar either. So if you are on a budget and want some picture quality this TV is going to be the best option until you can upgrade.

From the design of the box to the set up to the viewing of this television, I couldn't have asked for a more pleasant experience. Getting it delivered was quite an ordeal but once here, I wouldn't trade it for another one that costs twice as much. The features are outstanding for a TV at this price point! I love the simplicity of the Roku interface and remote. The picture is stunning and while the sound is a far cry from a full-blown surround system, it is perfectly acceptable just as it is, especially in a smaller room. I bought it to replace my 720p Panasonic Plasma, which I loved but it quit working. I researched products from all manufacturers for nearly a month before I decided to try my first TCL. I made a good decision!

I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a TV but I was quite surprised by this one. Good picture, easy to use and all around quality product. I bought the same TV for my bedroom just a smaller size.

My other tv was a Samsung and honestly it worked great for years. Unfortunately it died of old age and i decided to try something a little more budget friendly. I was pleasantly surprised by how vivid the colors are and how smooth the transitions are. Even the sound quality is higher than i could have expected! I was watching a certain marvel movie and i gotta say, it was next level!! I definitely recommend this tv to everyone thats looking for a great tv at a great price. You wont be disappointed.

I love my new TCL t.v. It was so easy ordering it on -line and when I went to pick it up at the Highlands West Virginia Best Buy, it was so simple. I responded on my phone that I had arrived and within a few minutes, a store associate loaded it into our vehicle. We were on our way home in minutes. The open- box price was a super bargain. I feel like the people are in the room, as the picture is so lfe like!

Love my smart Tv picture is so clear and color is so great

This was a great TV at first. Had a great picture and everything I wanted at a great price. However, it was emitting an awful chemical smell that would not go away. Smelled like burning plastic. I know that new TV's have this issue but mine did not dissipate at all. Stayed for nearly 2 weeks. I had to return it. It was giving me and my family headaches.

Tv has great screen resolution and color. Perfect size for my place! Thought I was going to need a sound system but the volume is perfect!
