Beware open box.

Doesn’t live up to the hype

Additionally, you can access expert picture settings by downloading the free Roku mobile app on a smartphone or tablet. Squeling sound

Great picture and great colors!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great picture, this is much better that the TCL 55" we replaced it with, the QLED is much brighter and the colors richer, better blacks too. It is in a sun room and can see the picture much better in bright light. Love the stand too, fits much better than the older model. I do use a sound bar so not sure how the sound is.

Only 2 day!

I saw reviews of others having the same issue and hoped it wouldn’t happen to me. I returned it and will try again.

The colors for me are the best, compared to my previous tv, the number of colors that are available to the eye is immense. Great product! Sound is the worst aspect but still an upgrade. I believe this product is designed to have at least a sound bar in mind.

It's Okay
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I spent probably ten hours on research before purchasing the R655 over the Hisense U8H. I was already more familiar with TCLs, having owned one in the past (R617 2018 Model) and because I prefer Roku. Took me about a half hour to get the calibration correct for my tastes. The colors are amazing, the contrast is wonderful, and the Roku OS is nice and smooth. However, there's two fairly large issues, motion and 1080p content. I'm a weird guy, I prefer the Soap Opera Effect so I put everything on high. In busy scenes, there's extremely clear artifacting. If I put the motion settings off, instead there's a pronounced judder. So it's either deal with awkward artifacting or have everything seem like 20 FPS. With the 1080p content, the R655 really struggles to clean it up. The content may as well be 720p, it doesn't look great. The reason why I mentioned motion and 1080p content as key issues is because my 2018 R617 model didn't have these issues whatsoever. The motion (whether smoothing was on or off) was pristine, and 1080p content may as well have been 4k. It's disappointing to see TCL make significant advancements in color accuracy and contrast in five years, only to regress in other areas and have their flagship 6-Series TV suffer from issues that plague lower-end TVs. I mean really, a model from almost five years ago didn't have these issues and now the latest model does? Come on, TCL. Overall? Maybe a 7 or 7.5/10.
