I’ve had numerous different tv’s and always considered a “cheap” brand. That said I took a chance on this one and I must say I’m thoroughly surprised. The picture competes with what I expect from an LG and Samsung. It does a great job in bright rooms and has a very immersive HDR experience. Overall, I’ve been thoroughly pleased with the purchase

When our prior TV developed problems, we bought this same size model based in part CNET's good review of it and in part because we watch TV through ROKU, so this is a good fit for us. It was easy to hook up, has excellent picture quality, and is simple to use. We can't comment on the sound since we run that through a receiver and surround sound system.

The tv is almost perfect in every way but I had to return it because the white tone is way too blue even on warm picture setting. TCL, if you’re reading this, add blue light filter or offer a film maker mode like LG. I would’ve kept this tv if it wasn’t for that. I do not like a very blue picture. It makes everything look pale. Also, the unit I had, had blown out image when it comes to the background on some content. Other than that, the tv is plenty bright and great for gaming but please make your tcls have the ability to get a warmer tone picture.

This TV replaced a "top of the line 8 year old Samsung". This tv has a better picture! Love the remote and ease of use! It syncs with TCLs newest soundbar system. The built in sound, without the sound bar was decent, too. We'll see how it lasts, but this is an extraordinary TV for ⅓ of what I paid for my Samsung.

Fairly decent picture on the mini-led screen panel. When viewing higher quality content and Dolby Vision content, it has a great picture. If you are going to watch lower quality content like live TV or older tv shows, the picture quality diminishes quite a bit, with the colors not always looking right. The accompanying Roku app does not appear to adjust the advanced color settings in a meaningful or helpful way. The screen can get fairly bright. Overall a very good television for the price. Roku is a very user friendly OS, but I personally prefer Google TV. I can't really speak to the speaker sound as I often listen to the TV through the aux out. As long as you know what you're getting into, this TV is a solid recommendation from me. As an aside, I won the panel lottery, I guess, as I don't have the dirty screen effect.

This is absolutly the the best picture I have seen in my 50 years. I was not expecting that at all. I have a theater in my house and I think this beats it. When it is on and the room is completely dark, yo can still see what you are doing because the screen is so bright. Also Roku is outstanding.

I needed a tv that has vrr, allm, 120hz all the features that can take gaming to the next level at a budget. I'm glad I got this tv. It's not pefect when compared to higher-end products but as long as it does same thing I'm satisfied.

This is an amazing TV at the given price. Its even blows some other more expensive units out of the water. I have a $1.3k LG 4k TV in my living ro that i purchased in 2018 and this one looks better in almost every way. This TCL went into my bedroom and is primarily used for my PS5.

Very good 4k 120hz smart TV for the price point. I’m satisfied with the speed and ease of use the UI provides. The TV is very bright for my space and the built-in speakers are very good. I’ve already recommended this TV to several friends and family members.

Really great TV! True 4K and has an excellent auto-gaming HDR picture mode which is great for the PS5. I do think it’s a expensive buy its worth the money and not like other 4K tvs that are for $200 or so and turn out to be not 4K.

I actually bought this to replace an LG oled that I wasn't happy with. This TCL is mind-blowing for the price. It has great colors and wonderful blacks. The only slight issue I see is some blooming. It seems the older 6 series did handle blooming a bit better.

I bought this TV to replace a lower series TCL that is outside on my covered deck. I had always had issues watching the previous TV during the day. I did some research on the brightness of various TVs and found that this TV had brightness of around 1,100 nits, the previous TV was 397. So this TV was almost 3x brighter. That was my biggest driver in buying the TV but didn't know that the picture would be so much better in every way. Color, blacks, detail, brightness are all significantly better than the other TV which wasn't bad. This isn't billed as an outdoor TV, but I do have a cover which protected the other TV for years. Outdoor TVs are very expensive compared to this. I agree with a previous review that the sound isn't great. I already had a TCL soundbar and subwoofer connected to the previous TV and hooked it right up to the HDMI4/ARC port. No issues.

I had the P Series TCL 55" since the end of 2017 and loved it. I stepped up to this 6 Series and love it even more. A very smart investment for a top notch picture with many excellent features on an easy to use Roku system! Thank you TCL!

The TV has a beautiful, clear picture and an easy-to-use interface for choosing between streaming services and the cable input. We have the TV connected to the Roku Streambar, so sound is rich and clear. The one issue is that there are occasions when, either as it switches between commercials and the program, or between segments, or when the images transitions from bright and dark, there is a short delay and the TV makes a sound like a camera lens shifting focus. We have been unable to find anything about a setting to adjust, or any documentation that confirms this is a feature and not something that needs attention.

Great upgrade from my previous TCL TV! Mini LED is no joke. Deep, rich blacks and night bright highlights. Perfect size for my area (wish I had room for the 85”!!). Having 2 gaming ports and a separate port to connect my sound bar is awesome. Love the new stand too. Makes it look premium, plus leaves room for my sound bar underneath. Love the Roku too. Seeing odd reviews complaining about the mobile app for more granular adjustments. It’s been that way for years and makes calibrating way easier. Sound is what it is, but get a soundbar!

I have been buying the TCL brand for awhile now started with older 4K 5 series back in 2018. Still works great actually gave it to my cousin a week ago. Then got a 6 series in 2020 to go with Series X but that tv model could not do 4K 120hz it could do 120hz at 1440 though. So picked this 2022 model up on sale and I knew the next generation of TCL 4K tvs were coming out soon. Anyhow this TV still rocks at 4K gaming at 120fps can even make a decent PC Gaming TV IMO. It looks great and if your looking for a decent budget gaming tv, I recommend it seeing how none of the TCL 4k tvs I've purchased have let me down. Plus it being on sale doesn't hurt either.
