Nice Tv
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m really enjoying this TV ! I wasn’t sure about buying it .Since I have only purchased Samsung’s only 3 and all still work . Except they couldn’t keep up with the streaming of Roku . This Tv has exceeded my expectations I am hoping when racing season starts I will still be pleased . I highly recommend this TV .

Worth it.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had my reservations but this TCL is a good buy. I bought it to play Xbox SX on 4K and it’s all good. It looks better than I expected and has all the settings you could ask for considering the price, affordable. I recommend.

TCL-evated it's game!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is probably the best budget TV there is right now. You get a lot of bang for your buck without sacrificing the heaps of cash that a more known brand can cost. Great color contrast and superb tv for gaming.

Best Bang for my Bucks
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my ideal TV. It has the features that I care most about along with a picture quality that punches well above its weight class. It does all this for a value that I found hard to beat when I made the decision to purchase a new TV.

Poor software
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The TV has a great picture, but the software has some issues - the Disney & Apple TV apps hardly ever work, the volume sometimes goes crazy where I can turn it all the way down to level '1' and the TV is still is at full-blast volume, and lately when adjusting the volume, the picture get blurry, and the volume icon appears in 4 different places on the screen. Some of these issues get temporarily fixed when I unplug the TV, but they always eventually come back. I'll be returning mine.

Overall, very nice.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love it, but for the remote to work you need to pair it to the tv via the hidden pairing button in the battery compartment. A heads-up on this would have saved me much wasted time. Also the feet are goofy, the front and back are unequal lengths and at different angles to the tv, which messed up my planned placement. The worst hidden bad feature is that if you use the headphone jack it totally disables the speaker output. That's a big problem for us as we prefer to continue listening while doing stuff in other rooms, the basement or even outside. So I have to purchase a DAC to receive the optical fiber output to convert it to analog to plug my Sennheizer rf headphone transmitter into. I prefer Sennheizer rf headphones over Bluetooth because they have much greater range. So the headphone jack is actually useless. None of this is a deal breaker.

Great Bedroom tv
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This tv is perfect for any bedroom, whether it’s gaming or watching videos. For gaming it can do 4k 60hz or 1440p 120hz on PC. While on the PS5 it can only do 4K 60hz and I believe 1080p 120hz, 1440p is yet to be supported on the PS5. The only con I have about the TV is the viewing angles. Since it is a VA panel, if you look at the tv at its side angles, the colors will look totally off. Making it so that you can only view the tv directly in front, which I think makes it a bad Living room tv, but will do great in your bedroom. Another personal con I have is that it uses Roku. I’m not a fan if roku, but luckily it has enough HDMI ports for your Pc, Console, and any streaming device you have (Chrome Cast, Firestick, Apple TV, etc).

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I find this TV better than the Samsung Q6 we previously owned. The picture is bright and crisp. The blacks are deep. The contrast is perfect. The gaming mode is an extra great feature!!! Newbie to Roku and Love the platform. Highly recommend this TV!

TCL is the way to go!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Outstanding quality for the price! I have had a TCL previously and had very good reliability and quality as well. Would purchase TCT again. The Mini-LED QLED Dolby Vision HDR gives a great picture and works well with my sound system.

||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my 2nd TCL Roku TV. The picture is amazing. The Roku smart tv lets you hook up through WiFi or ethernet which is awesome. The speed of the interface is quick. I love the Dolby Vision picture quality and the 4K is extremely clear.

Good value, but remote is a deal breaker
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really wanted to keep this TV. Solid picture and Roku built-in made for an easy interface. But the remote has 2 main issues that were deal-breakers. First is the remote cannot be programmed for audio. Combined with the poor sound (which is true of many TV's), you need to get another remote to run a simple soundbar. Second, the remote is very unreliable. About 50% of the inputs did not register. I called TCL customer service for the audio issue, thinking I had missed something. Although they didn't have a solution, I will say the customer service was very good.

Terrible. Randomly shut offs. Smells.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just bought this TV from best buy almost a week ago. While the picture is amazing, the TV is randomly shutting off while playing my Xbox series x. It is also randomly shutting my dolby atmos soundbar off randomly... very annoying. My 300 dollar vizio I had no problems with... I have also noticed the top few lines get static when playing certain 120hz games. So while the picture is amazing... it's only amazing when it is not randomly shutting off. Second... the second I opened the box there was a enormous chemical smell that has not gone away. My whole room smells like it still. I contacted tcl to let them know my problem abd their solution was to unplug my TV and wait 3 days for there tech support to get in touch with me. I have already given my old TV to my girlfriend, so now I have no TV. All the tech support did was tell me to bring it back to where I bought it. This TV barley fit into my car, and now I get to drag it back to the store and then drag a new one home and set it up? You want me to take more time out of my schedule to do that?? When it's probably a manufacturing problem in your end?? Crazy... Anyway im not happy with this TV. It looks great when it's not randomly rebooting, smelling, and turning my sound off. TCL customer support is a joke.

Pre 8K TV.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really like the picture quality on this TV. Great bang for your buck. Would recommend to others. May not be able to go full 120fps but this tv will last a good 2-3 years to use with your PS5/XBOXSX and if and when they start going 8K with games you can upgrade. I don’t see it happening for at least another 2-3 years and I promise this budget TV will get you by and will make you smile when you see the picture quality especially if this is your first 4K TV. CHEERS!

returned it because of many problems
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV has a great picture, really nice. But the remote control didnt work well right from the start, after three days it didnt work at all. I had to use my phone with the roku app as a remote control but sometimes that didnt work either. After about a week the volume on the tv stopped working completely. It was making a squeaking noise. I returned it. I got a Sony and spent some more money but it works so much better.

Excellent midrange to top tier tv.
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am a tech guy. Love my gadgets and spend days looking stuff up before i buy anything. So i did the same qhen i was looking for a tv for when i got a ps5. I played destiny on it on my ps4 pro and it already made a night and day difference. I had a lg 4k tv before this. The hdr the 120hz the game mode. All of it made the game look and feel smoother. Than i got the ps5 amd oh wow baby. Lol. This tv looks incredible. You do gotta tweak the settimg amd get it right but after that all is good. The one compalint i can see people havimg is viewing angles. Its a tv meant for looking at it straight on. People on the sides will notice qhwn the whites overlay the blacks. Other than that love everything about it.

Nearly Perfect Alternative to OLED
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall, this is an excellent TV. The settings are a bit finicky and I've had issues with sound on my Sonos Playbar that didn't occur with our older Vizio TV this TCL replaced. However, those minor gripes aside, the picture quality (when dialed in) is incredible. When you factor in the price of this set in comparison to others with similar picture quality, the simplicity of the Roku OS, and this becomes a easy recommendation for those looking to upgrade to QLED and HDR. If I could get the sound to work better (which may not even be an issue with the TV) and the picture settings were a little more intuitive and this would be a five star rating.

Really Starting To Respect these TCL TVs.....
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Have come to love the TCL tvs especially the 5 and 6 series. They are surprisingly feature rich for being relatively affordable and meet the needs of my household....I have replaced all older samsung with TCLs of different size and years.... I worked to keep the ROKU Interface on all of them to keep them operating the same thru the house....The ROKU interface is easy to learn and simple to navigate.... These relatively inexpensive TVs have held up well over the past few years....I expect to get a good amount of use out fo them....take a look. Compare. I think you will be surprised at the value of these sets.

Poor-man's OLED!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The mini LED concept really is a game changer, and for the price you can't do no better! Really love the colors and deep blacks, and definitely future proofed with true 120hz.
