    Nice video quality, terrible speakers

Although the price was great, the speakers are terrible. They seem to rattle when the sound frequency is lower - my guess is the hardware is cheap and poorly constructed. Aside from the speakers, the video quality is good and the Roku interface intuitive.

Love the panel especially at the price but would recommend a sound bar because the speakers are extremely tinny.

My only problem is that you HAVE to have Roku speakers if you want a soundbar.

Excellent 4K UHD TV for the price paid. The only downside is are the speakers. But nothing a soundbar cannot fix.

We bought this tv for our bedroom. We've had it for about 1 month now and so far so good. We did purchase a cheap sound bar with it because the tv speakers aren't the best. I definitely recommend this tv, especially for such a low price.

vivid colors, Sharpness, Roku Built in!

in short this TV is stellar for the price. PROS- -Price -HDR (once settings have been adjusted) -Sharpness -Roku Built in! @@@@@@@@ probably the best ) CONS- -Speakers aren't amazing -Blacks are more of dark grey little light bleed from blacklight. when you play 4k disks the tv is incredible even when playing dvds, but really shines when you have 4k content to feed. this could easily be priced at the $600 price point for the sheer size and Roku built in.

I picked this up as my main home entertainment system TV. While at first I was impressed, over time I started noticing a few things that I don't like. Primarily this TV has a problem with backlight bleed. Now, I recognize this is sometimes could be just the specific unit I have, I plan on bringing it back to the store and getting a replacement unit. The bleed started in the corners of the screen and started working its way inward, its easy to tell where the screen gets light towards the center of the unit and gets extremely dark around the edges. The second issue I have is the 3.5mm AUX output is pretty pitiful, I have it hooked up to a speaker system, and there's this constant hum that plays over it - I just purchased a DAC unit and I'll see if the digital audio output quality is any better.

How is this thing so cheap? It's a fantastic TV! Amazing image and the built-in Roku is awesome. It was the perfect replacement for my old plasma that was in the bedroom, and it didn't break the bank. The only downside is, you'll need to get a sound bar if you don't already have speakers. I'm not at all knocking the TV, because all modern flat screens these days have horrible built-in speakers, but these are pretty bad! I should mention that I'm an audio snob, so they might be just fine for others.

The average TV owner like me I think just wants their purchase to work, work meaning a good/vivid picture, working sound. No pixelly looking newscasts, no static, no garbled voices. In this day and age such a bad TV probably doesn't even exist without a fluke. The only other wish is for longevity and I cant speak to that yet. This TV is as I imagined, big and shiny, I have only one issue with it. I hate to call it a complaint. If you're like me and just wanted a TV and aren't super into every new tech advance, be advised your old stereo/speaker may not be compatible. I made an assumption and alas my TV is now too smart for my speakers.

Before you move on to check the rest of my review I want to say that I'm not very critical about things for the most part. However, I always do very meticulous research before buying anything, in this case a TV. In my opinion I think this TV is definitely worth getting considering the quality/cost ratio. You won't regret buying this. In general, it displays 4k and HDR content very well, the audio is average(I suggest buying a speaker set), the Roku system is one of the biggest highlights I would say. Roku makes navigating through your channels and system so much easier and when you get the app you can listen to whatever you're watching on the tv through your phone just by plugging in your earphones and turning on the setting with the headphone symbol on it. It also doesn't lag if you're playing FPS games on your console as long as you have good wifi. Overall great TV to have in your home and its minor flaws can be corrected just by getting for example a speaker device to improve the sound.

So far it looks great, but I have some gripes: - I can't find a way to turn the audio off and rely fully on the optical out. I want to disable the internal speakers. - The USB stays on for ~15 minutes once you turn off the TV. This is annoying for those of us with bias lighting. - The Roku remote doesn't have a built in headphone jack like I'd get with any decent Roku unit. This is also an annoying feature to lack. All in all, it's fine? I thought having a built in roku would be like having a roku but it's definitely missing some common sense features. If you're looking for a cheap TV with basic function, this is the one to get.

Over all this is a great TV. It isn't the highest quality blow you out of your seat experience but if you want to enjoy 4k gaming and entertainment and you have a limited budget this is the TV for you. It has all the bells and whistles all the high-end names have like 4k UHD and it does support HDR. The main reason I didn't give this TV 5 stars is the speaker quality. The speakers aren't great but they aren't terrible either. I would recommend getting a sound bar or surround sound for this TV. Also I like the fact that it's wifi and I can look at Hulu and other streaming services right from the tv. This is also a great way to get away from high cable or satellite bills as Roku offers tons of free streaming channels that may not provide as good of movies as Hulu or Netflix but I'm not complaining. All in all really good TV for the price!
