I recently purchased this TV, we already had several Roku devices and we really love the simple interface and multitude of apps. Additionally we are cable cutters so the ability to switch between OTA TV and streaming apps is really great. The TV was simple to setup and I’m enjoying the overall picture quality and easy to use interface.

Although this TV does not have the clarity of an LG it is still a very good TV for the price. My only complaint is that HDMI one would not allow a direct connection to my receiver which has multiple gaming devices put through it. There would be in frequent times of signal interruption, snow and even blackouts. It wasn’t until I connected the HDMI from my receiver into HDMI two of the TV that it worked flawlessly.

Easy to set up. Sound is sometimes off and remote doesn’t work properly all the time. Great overall tv for the price. Access to several apps. Can not connect to Xfinity remote control nor other universal remotes. Please do something about this. The tv also connects to YouTube when someone goes onto their YouTube without selecting to do so. Like you will be in the middle of a good part and YouTube randomly pops up!

A great price if you are looking for a 55” economy 4K UHD TV. Good as an occasional tv for viewing in a smaller bright room. The view from the side angle is not good, direct viewing is very good. At this price point, no HDR or Dolby Vision included. Overall, this tv has received very good industry reviews for a budget tv. I would definitely recommend for gaming.

Purchased July and so far is working great. Only complaints I have are the remote is the same as the Roku Stick remote. Would prefer a little larger remote. Volume and mute buttons are on the side of remote which is a little clumsy. TV screen reflects light a little more than I like. Hopefully it will last as long as my 32" Samsung which is 10 + years old and going strong.

We just moved and needed a TV. I was a little sceptical of the brand because this isn't a popular brand. When the TV arrived it, all my fears went out of the window. This TV is a great buy. The quality of the picture is great and connects perfectly to the Wifi with no problems. The sound isn't the best but it connected to my soundbar. Problem solved.

I decided to buy this tv for family as an Xmas gift. I went into bestbuy near me and started looking at tvs. I had an LG TV in mind, a sales associate for LG came over to me and started answering questions about the tv. He suggested the TCL instead, saying it was a way better buy for it's lower price. So I ended up getting it. Set it up for my family, they love it. It's a large screen, easy user interface, and wow does it pop.

TCL makes a great tv for under $400. The features you get for that little money with other conpanies are nothing in comparison. The picture is great, & installed apps are very convenient. This is my second TCL tv, & I have to say that I am surprised by the quality of the picture. It’s not as good as some of the larger companies, but great for a fraction of the cost. Will buy again!

I've used this TV with the built-in services (Hulu, YouTube, Netflix, Plex) and experienced 4K, HDR. I also have an AppleTV (1080p) and Xbox One S (4K + HDR) plugged in. It's been great. The panel has some light spots and doesn't do a great job with super dark scenes, but I've already recommended this to friends. It's a really nice display.

I bought this because it is a Roku TV - very easy to use, with good quality images. Plenty of brightness. Not a high end TV but good enough for most uses. The only thing I don't like is the difficulty in getting to the physical TV settings. Roku overlays everything and makes it difficult to set up the TV. The settings appear to be accessible only via the Roku app.

I've had this TV for a few months now, and so far it has been very solid. Picture is good and 4K content looks great. I really don't have many complaints about it. The only small detractor is the viewing angle. In other words, if you get too far left or right of center, the picture isn't really that clear. Really doesn't affect me that often though. I'd purchase it again.

If you can catch this on sale, it is a lot of TV for the money. Good picture, solid sound and most smart functions (except mirroring). As others have said, the remote is a small Roku, but I am usually using the cable remote. It comes with the Roku screen as the factory default when you turn it on, but you can change that in settings. At $379, it’s hard to beat for a 55 inch TV Right now.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the picture for such a low price. Unlike my last TV which used a roku stick, the app starts up very quickly..actually immediately so there is no wait to watch TV. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I wish Roku would put number buttons on the remote so you can go directly to the channel you want to watch.

I bought this as a test to replace a couple of 24" monitors and couldn't be happier. I now have the equivalent of a quad monitor setup on my desk without the annoying spaces between the monitors. Now, this TV isn't great for gaming or anything, but for office stuff and streaming on my lunch break, you can beat it.

I do like this TV. It has a good picture quality, nice color and easy to use smart features. I am giving it a four star due to not being able to have it go to my cable programming when I turn it on. It goes to the option screen. I would much rather have the regular programming first, and if I want to go to the option screen i can do so when need.

First let me say the pixel to dollar ratio "WIN". Many people don't understand that you have to have a large enough viewing area to even appreciate 4K resolution. To that end the panel delivers quite nicely. The issues I have are with Rokus smart features. I am using this in a exercise room with a computer with iTunes loaded so I'm not constrained to Roku viewing apps.

The picture quality is excellent, and the sound is good. It has a very good user interface, the sound level is in the upper right corner so it does not interfere with most of the picture. Options and settings are easy to see and change. Occasionally, the set will freeze and do nothing just like a computer - power off/on usually fixes that. This is the reason I gave it only 4 stars.

Good TV for the price. Probably the case on most smart TV's, but I don't like the fact that you have to select input after you turn it on rather than defaulting to last used. As a result, I have to use the TV remote to turn it on and select input. Then I can switch to my Tivo remote. Not a huge deal, but means I need 2 remotes instead of just one with my previous non-Smart TV.

This TV is a great deal for the money. There is so much on it. I feel there should be an easier way to figure everything out. One thing I don't understand is why on my computer, I can go to websites like YouTube without signing in or wanting you to subscribe, but my new TV wants you to create a login. Just little things like that are annoying.

I had some gift cards to use so I put them towards this tv. For just over $300, it was a worthwhile purchase. I like the fact that I can use the ROKU app on my phone to do everything on the tv. It said that I get free 30 days of sling, but I am not sure how to get that. There was no code on the receipt. I would like that as they advertised it and hope it wasn't just a scam to buy the tv.
