If you've cut the cord, this is the TV for you. Press the red power button on the remote, takes you directly to four choices,Roku, Hulu, DVR or antenna. Only gave it 4 stars cause once you click on the DVR (were still using Directv for now) you can't control the sound from the Direct remote. Otherwise great picture.

The Memorial Day bargain price for this 55" 4K TV is an amazing deal. Similar picture sharpness and coloring as other TV's twice the price at the store. Easy to assemble out of the box, even Roku and sling were easy to set up.

Good clear picture, good sound and has all the bells and whistles needed for the price. My son just uses it for gaming and movies. It's been on about 20 hrs a day since we got it and nothing has diminished. I would buy another one if this went out.

I'm impressed with the picture quality. I am learning more on the 4k and am impressed with the picture quality. The only thing I am not liking is the screen size. When I turn on the TV in the morning, the screen is really small. I have to go to the settings and adjust the picture size.

I had a 4k smart TV, and I also used chrome cast ultra, but this combination of Roku built into a 4K television out performed all that. I am using it for a month now and I don't see any down sides yet. I would have given 5 star if I could have got an accidental cover along with this.

Nice TV, great price but horrible remote control

By far the worst remote control I have ever used. If you can get past the very low tech remote, the picture quality and features of the tv are well worth the price. The audio is rather poor also, but paired with a soundbar that problem is rapidly fixed.

This TV loses a star for the remote. I have this in a rental property but the picture quality is great and it has lots of useful apps loaded on. The best part about the tv is it has HDR support even with out being advertised as such! For the money great TV.

I just fired this bad buy up tonight. Everyone was saying this has HDR (it’s not advertised as having it) but when I tried to turn HDR on on my PS4, I was notified that the TV doesn’t have it. The rest seems fine. Make sure you get a HDMI 2.0 cable for any media. The price was really worth it.

I have been pleasantly surprised how easy the TV is to operate! Remote is small with very few buttons. Roku is great easy to navigate and loads of apps available. Not much streaming on line at 4k yet! I would highly recommend this TV! Only drawback I see is the sound system, need sound bar!

If you aren't going to spend over $1000 on a tv this is your best bet. With the cheaper Samsungs and Sonys I felt like I wasn't getting features or reliability for sake of saving cost. This TCL is a great compromise of features and value.

We’ve had this TV for about three months now. Love the integrated Roku with our Netflix and Amazon subscriptions. The only thing that lacks is the sound is a little on the soft side. We address that with the sound bar in now love our TV.

We bought this TV to use to watch local channels with an over the air antenna. The picture is clear and just fine for that purpose. Overall, it is a very nice TV and would buy again without any reservation.

This TV is great. Netflix, hulu, DirecTV, I can stream it all. It's only downside is its lack of a vivid screen. No matter how much I adjust it still seems to look dull. Still it definitely has more pros than cons.

Not sure where else you will get a 4K tv for this price. It was easy to install and The Roku interface was easy. Only reason it is not a 5 is the ROKU remote. They need numbers for the TV interfaces for quick channel find vs scrolling up or down a guide

it need more Brightnes! the TV image is not good as the 599.99$ dollar version, Both of the TV's need to be improve in HDR, they need to improve screen mirroring as well coz Roku don't support mirroring (just Photo Slides) , if you don't mind about it then this TV is perfect for you

This TV was on sale and the original price was already reasonable. I read several reviews and found this unit to be acceptable. So far, no problems. I guess time will tell. We added an extended warranty just to be sure. Sales person was very helpful.

You get what you expect for this tv. We used it to display CCTV images for a client. Only complaint, when you first turn TV on you have to keep selecting the input you want, not a fan of that. Maybe a setting to turn that off - but we haven't found it.

      Hi WIFIGuy,

You can set your TCL Roku TV to power on to a specific input. You would need to do the following: Go to Home>Settings>System>Power>Power On>Select HDMI #1 (or which ever option you want the TV to power on to). Hope this helps!

Good picture quality, needed a Roku OS TV to simplify use with only one remote for Roku and antenna TV. Works well so far. Sales person did not know this is a HDR 4K TV. It uses HDR10 format, the most commonly used format, but it does not have Dolby Vision HDR format.

Love the tv, unfortunately my Xbox says it doesn’t support 4K resolution, the tv, not the Xbox. So not exactly sure how that works since I spent 450 on this. Picture is nice, apps run smooth. Not many complaints other than lack of 4K from Xbox.

      Hello,

Please make sure you have the HDMI port set to HDMI 2.0. In order to do this go to Settings>TV Inputs>Select the HDMi your Xbox is connected to>HMDI Mode>2.0. This should allow the Xbox to display in 4K. Hope this helps!

If you want a BIG tv but do not want to spend a fortune then look no further. This tv will be the best bang for your buck out of any other tv out there. You get the rocu tv + the 4K all for less then $400 and if that’s not a deal I don’t know what is.
