Going off of the review site reviews of this tv, this buy was a great choice! We really enjoy the quality of this tv. I would say the only issue I have found is the tv sound coming straight out of the tv, is not great. Easy fix, buy a sound bar. Also, the 6 series for this year, is on its own level compared to the lower level series from TCL.

I didn't have any of the problems generally cited in online reviews pertaining to banding and/or grey uniformity. Great colors and great visual quality. 4k content looks amazing! Definitely recommend! The speaker is tinny and not great (as expected with these thin TVs). You would be better off getting a cheap soundbar to go with it to mitigate this.

Like quite a few reviews, I see a lot of banding on the tv, both the right and the left sides as seen in other pictures. It’s extremely annoying on any panning seem. Not sure how common this is as bad reviews are far more common than good ones on almost any product. I may or may not give this brand another chance, but returning this tv over the weekend. Now the good: HDR performance matches last years sony, so that is extremely impressive Color reproduction looks great If you don’t get the banding it’s a great value. The other Bad: 60hz panel is noticeable Local dimming needs tuning Doesn’t handle when the source changes very well (like the PS4 going to blu Ray 24p mode) Fix the quality control issues and I’d say it’s 4.5 stars.

You can’t beat the price. Before this tv I owned a samsung that costs twice the price of this Tv. Tcl is best in every way. The hdr is just stunning. It’s primary use is for gaming and there no lag at all. For games that support hdr they can’t look better. I have owned all my life Sony and Samsung tvs and tcl has become my favorite brand since this purchase

After much research and shopping thru the sales, decided on this TV. Have found it really good besides for sports. Close up the picture is great, but from far seems a little blurred. Might just have to adjust setting a little more. For the price, can't beat it. To get better picture, you are going to double the price.

This new 2018 TLC is comparable to many of the high-end TVs on the market today. I was a little skeptical with the reviews that came out but I have been pleasantly surprised with how it looks and performs. I have done the testing on the vertical banding and everything else that people are complaining about but I have not found any issue. I would highly recommend this for anyone wanting a nice TV but not paying the premium price.

Best TV I have owned hands down. The 4k resolution is great but is enhanced by the HDR options if you have a supported item hooked up to it. Both my Xbox and PlayStation is connected and my games have never looked better. Also streaming Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, and HBOMax and the shows and movies along with the size of the TV feels like I'm watching them at the movies.

I read lots of reviews for this TV and basically came to the conclusion that this TV had about the best picture I could get for under $1000. I didn't know much about TCL before I started reading reviews. I really like this TV. The picture really is great. The Roku operating system is great which make the smart TV features work very well. Feel like I took a little bit of a chance with an unknown brand name and found a winner.
