The setup was pretty easy once we figured out how to correctly put the base on and then everything else went well. The picture is EXCELLENT with crystal clear, vibrant colors and I've been impressed with the quality of sound since my biggest issue is my hearing so I'm very pleased so far. It's a REALLY good TV and at a great price. I highly recommend.

If you are shopping for a $500 TV, just get it.

For a $500 TV, I find it difficult to justify spending more unless you can and want to. I'm a video snob, so I have some complaints about the saturation and color values, but for the overall experience, you can't beat it. (And you can tweak it within reason if you are "that kind" of person, which I am). This review is not based on the smart TV implementation, though it seems just fine (I use my Xbox Series X as my "media center"). I've done some gaming both from the XBox and a gaming laptop and it's perfectly fine - if you are someone who needs better performance, you're likely going to be using a separate setup for your gaming anyway. Hopefully the screen holds up. My last TV was a 60" LG that I bought at this same price point because it was a 60" 4K television. That was five years ago and it started to fail about a year ago. For the price, I'm okay with $100/year for a pretty good TV and this one is WAY better than that LG was. So to be clear: I really only use this TV as a monitor. I have no idea how the smart TV experience is or how it sounds. I use an XBox or PC to play my media and I have a receiver and speakers.

This TV got rave reviews from the critics. Personally I GREATLY prefer my previous R655 to this new model. I do like the RC923/FMB2 lighted remote. But not available for purchase without the TV. Notably, QM7 TV is about 4" thick across the entire unit. I don't mind giving up the 1" thinness to get a woofer and better sound. MAIN PROBLEM: As designed, Dolby Vision affects EVERYTHING on this TV. Not just movies. :( TCL Cust Svc says DOLBY VISION CANNOT BE TURNED OFF like on the old TVs. Dolby Vision DIMS the picture and forces Whites to appear Yellowish! I love my bright pure whites! (I don't buy soft white light bulbs.) This ruins an otherwise almost stellar TV. I spent an hour with customer service adjusting settings to get something acceptable. Sad. When you switch inputs, it turns Dolby Vision Off for a couple of seconds so you can see what this TV truly could be. Then, right back to dim, yellow content, even on the Firestick Menu?? Has some improvements. - No longer requires you to create Gmail account just to use the TV. - TV is now mostly functional in dumb TV mode (no ads so far!) YaY. - The backlight on the remote can be switched off/on by holding gear icon and backspace arrow for 3 seconds. Nice. - TV firmware and serial number display by holding Home and OK. I could not find the serial number anywhere on the outside of the TV after it was setup! (I didn't check the bottom). Also, TV has tiny light that blinks when it detects button presses on the remote. Great for troubleshooting. Half-heartedly recommend.

I went to buy a TV, Samsung or Sony were.my 1st choices. Seeing the display, the vibrant colors and other features, as well as price point, sold me on the TCL. This is the best TV I've owned. The picture quality is beyond compare and the features on the remote are simple to learn and use. Highly recommend.

We absolutely love this tv, it’s got a great picture and smooth motion. I can’t stand when you bring a tv home and looks choppy and completely different than it looked in store. My only issue with it is how much heat it puts off.. I’d suggest having it In a bigger space that won’t heat up so easily. Other than that we’re completely happy with it!

Overall this is an excellent TV. The picture is great and the sound is good. We've enjoyed using the Android apps as well. Sometimes when turning it on it is a touch jittery when loading, but otherwise fantastic!

This TV is amazing. Especially for the price. It has everything you need. 4 HDMI ports, 2 of which suppot 120hz and 1 of those supports up to 144hz. I have my PS5, XSX and a Panasonic 4K Blu-Ray playet (UB820) and the HDR10 and Dolby Vision are great. Just make sure you go into the settings while watching something to really see the difference and then you can adjust the settings to your liking. TCL has become my go-to company for TV's now.

Really enjoying. I have 2 C model LG OLEDs and can not really tell a difference in picture (and I am very sensitive to picture quality). Sound is surprisingly good without any additional audio equipment and I’m enjoying the Google interface.

The picture quality on this TCL is stunning! I upgraded from a Sony UHD HDTV because the Sony would not work with any of the headphones I purchased. I was scared to buy a TV that wasn't a name brand...but I am so pleasantly surprised at the features and the AMAZING picture quality with this TCL. I did tons of research before buying to find a TV that works within my Apple ecosystem including my Apple AirPods Pro and my Apple AirPods Max. The TCL connects seamlessly with both.

Amazing quality for the price I paid. Picture is good and remote has good stuff but needs improvement. I have had issues with sound. It went quite low for awhile. It has an Onkyo subwwoofer on the back of it. I messed with the sound and it sucked, went back to default and is now amazing again. not sure what I did to make it so low sounding. It is an amazing tv for the price. What really worked for me was the stand as most tvs now have the same stand and require a wide space for placement. This replaced a Sony 43" which was given to daughter when she moved out.
