I've had this TCL 55" Class QM7 4K tv for under a month and the Mini-LED offers a crisp, vibrant and impressive viewing experience that rivals the more expensive brands like LG and Samsung. Some reviewers complain that the side viewing isn't very good, but I was able to tweak the video settings, and the side viewing is actually pretty good. Audio is good for smaller to mid-sized rooms, a larger room and you'll need a soundbar or audio system, but the TV does have audio settings to help make the speech stand out and assist with surround sound. It also has a port for headphones which comes in handy for those late-night movies when you don't want to wake up the family. I gotta say this is the best TV I've ever owned and if you're looking for a TV that has great picture quality, pretty decent sound and won't break the bank, the TCL QM series is the tv you need.

After using the TCL QM7 55" TV for a month, I can confidently say it offers an impressive viewing experience, especially considering its price range. The picture quality is vibrant and crisp, making movies and shows look incredibly lifelike. The built-in smart features are intuitive and responsive, allowing seamless access to streaming services. Sound quality is decent, though I found it better when paired with an external sound system. The sleek design fits well in my living room, adding a modern touch. The setup was straightforward, and the remote control is user-friendly. Overall, the TCL QM7 delivers excellent value with its blend of performance, smart capabilities, and design.

The TCL QM7 overall is an excellent tv at its price point. Great picture quality and brightness. Decent sound for built in tv speakers. Backlit remote control is nice it is slightly large though. Nice brushed metal looking finish around the border of the tv. Loaded with gaming features for current gen consoles. Had an issue with my first tv it had a bad pixle so i had to exchange it for another one. Also Somthing worth noting the speaker on the back of the television can interfere with wall mounting the tv we had to slide our bar down some and it sticks out slightly underneath the tv. Initial setup of the tv takes longer than any other tv I have purchased updating and signing in accepting TOS etc. overall very happy with the purchase

Bought this with high expectations as I’ve never had anything except led tvs. Can say it definitely met those expectations and actually by far exceeded them. Graphics are stunning when watching movies and the sound is great too. Also extremely bright. 10/10 would buy this model again and recommend anyone contemplating on whether or not they should grab this to just do it. You will not regret it.

This TV is for sure one of the best TVs I've ever owned and this is coming from a guy who had an LG CX from 2020. For the price it offers alot. This TV is absolutely excellent for gaming if you're looking for a great gaming TV at a great price this is it. It even has a game master mode that allowes you to make certain gaming enhancements like adding a dot, cross or circle for FPS games which helps alot especially when you pick up or use a wepon with terrible iron sights.

i am very well versed in all tech and this tv is insane for the price. There is not a single tv for the price with all the features and quality. i was scepticala about tcl but every samsung tv i have had broke winthin 3 years. This tv is way better than the top tv brands like sony samsung and lg. for the price it has incredible picture, brightness, refresh rate, and blasting speakers. i play mostly ps5 AAA games on this tv and it looks incredible, the ultra bass in the back really kicks. And i can hands down say this is by far the best. Bang for your buck tv right now. it also has a nice remote thats backlight

This TV is hits a homerun for a budget tv. Super bright, sharp and vibrant picture. Blacks are super black thanks to miniLED and hundreds of dimming zone. Movies are a treat to watch. You get 120hz of blazing fast gaming, both PS5 and Xbox work great. Great upscaling as well. Overall 10/10 tv. TCL has surpised me and let it surprise you too.

TV has amazing picture quality probably the best I’ve ever had in a tv, it’s bright whether in sunlight or not, sound is very good, and the os is fluid and fast.

Great picture and sound , geek installed good experience

The item was delivered in its box to the first floor of my building. When i opened it up, there was a large crack and the screen’s backlight would light up when i turned it on, but there was nothing displayed. Going to be a huge pain to return. I’m sure the TV is great though, just do not order it to be delivered.

First of all let me just say thanks to Best Buy for getting me this tv a day earlier than expected as I am on vacation and get to now enjoy this new tv a little more lol. The unpackaging of this tv and setup was easy. Thank you TCL for making this painless and not including a heavy metal plate for the stand, some may say thats cheap but to me it makes it easier for anyone to easily setup which is the point. The tv with the stand looks great and appears to have room for a soundbar in front. But the audio on this tv is good! I have a $800 samsumg soundbar that I dont even miss because this tv sounds good enough. It has a subwoofer in the back and the speakers on this tv is supported by onkyo. Not only did TCL upgrade the audio from last years Q7 but it added Mini-LED hence the name QM7. With what the Q7 already did in terms of contrast and brightness with still controlling blooming, this TV just surpasses it. Black levels are really good. Of course it is not OLED but OLED can not get that bright and if so you risk burn in. Maybe not now but long term. Check out Rtings website who do test on Tv’s for longevity and OLED’s do get burn in. Anyway I passed on last years QM8 and this seems like that TV from the reviews I have seen for it. As the new QM8 for 2024 seems to be taking a step up. Kudos to TCL for really upgrading their TV’s. As for the picture quality it has great setting adjustments as well as being able to set it to to an auto adjustment picture for HDR content. Game mode is still great like last year with the same game bar. The remote is the same as last years but that was already good (remote is backlit). The google operating system is quick and snappy. No lag and no issues loading apps. I have the 55 inch model and this is my personal Tv for gaming and watching my favorite movies at night. Anyone interested should definitely give this Tv a try, I am not bias to any tv brand as I have a Sony X90L in my living room, an LG OLED in another room and a Samsung Q90. I purchased the 55Q751G last week, from Best Buy. After it was all set up, it took me about 1-1/2 hours, to find all the various Audio, Picture Calibration, Internet Connection, CEC, Apps, etc., settings, to make all adjustments. I have DTV Satellite and a DENON AVR that outside sources connect to the Denon, first, then output to TV using eARC and Dolby Surround system. I had some scouting to do, with the TCL/Google remote, for what buttons, for what various TV adjustments, etc. It was a learning process that took time. I used the TUBI App and watched a couple movies, but how do I get out of the TUBI app, back to my Satellite TV programing? I got that figured out by using the Denon AVR remote for button that says, "Cable TV." TCL with ROKU was much more User Friendly. I plan to go back in and see if I can set-up Roku and use that, which I am very familiar with. I did look at the Roku TV higher end TV. Then read that Roku TV, not being a TV mfg, utilized TCL or Hisense manufacturing. The TCL 55QM751G, is manufactured in Mexico, according to my box label. The Picture Quality on the TCL 55QM751G is OUT OF THIS WORLD for MOVIES! The Denon AVR has upscaling from 1080i video from DTV Satellite. The TCL has some upscaling too, from streaming providers. I am very HAPPY with this TCL 55QM751G[2024 Model] This TCL replaced a 9 year old TCL Roku and my wife has a 2 year old TCL S555 Roku

I picked up the TCL 55” QM7 during the BestBuy 2024 Labor Day sale for $499.99 + CA tax. ($543.11). Around that price, I had considered entry level Sony, Samsung, and other brands, and I was leaning toward the Samsung Q60D at around $599. It’s early days, but this model crushes those TVs, their interfaces, and delivers stunning screen color, clarity, and definition; absolutely amazing at this price. Setup was intuitive and childlike, as was having my Sonos sound bar and woofer recognize the TV and connect seamlessly. I toggle between the TV interface and my external Apple TV box, as I prefer Apple, but I could easily imagine disconnecting the Apple TV once tech surpasses it’s abilities. With that in mind, I chose this TV based on picture quality alone, and it delivers far beyond my wildest expectations. I was hesitated to purchase the TCL brand, new to the US market, but if TCL maintains its build quality and demonstrates long-term reliability (meaning this TV doesn’t die, start blowing LEDs, or burn an image into the screen), they’re going to eat the lunch of Sony, Samsung, and LG. Go get this TV!

After months worth of looking for the perfect 55 inch TV under a $1000 I decided to go with TCL. If you're looking for a TV for console gaming you can't go wrong with this one. It has 2 HDMI 2.1 ports. The picture looks amazing for the price, you just have to dial in a few settings to your liking. This does have a built in subwoofer and is honestly on the better side of things audio wise but it still won't beat out a decent sound system. The only cons to this TV is that it is a Google TV, and it takes a little getting used navigating the menus. There's also pixels that will either be too bright or dark when in game mode, but this is a prevalent issue on even higher end TVs. Considering the unit I have is only a single pixel it's something I can look past.

Huge upgrade from a 2001 S4 series! Purchased this tv for my midsized apartment. Bright screen, xbox series x graphics are great, reflection is not a huge issue, no laggy bugs with google tv, set up is quick if you have a google account. Front firing speakers with Okyno subwoofer provides decent sound for my simple living room, if placing in a larger living room could use a sound bar. Out of the box calibration is great with some minor adjustments to YOUR viewing pleasure. Looking foward to the college football season, although Dish only produces a 1080i picture at 60hz, so use HDMI 3 for any cable boxes. Got this at the $499 price, can't complain. Highly recommend getting this when it goes on sale again for that price.

This is a great TV. I wish there was a reduced fee for delivery and set up for the elderly who can't do the set up themselves. The cost was high for the set up; however, the guy who did the set up was absolutely great! He was quick and efficient and cleaned up everything leaving the area perfectly clean.

The TV has such a stunning picture quality at a reasonable price (I got it for $300 off MSRP, so it was a steal!) The colors are rich and the movements are really seamless and crisp. The Google TV interface did take awhile to figure out but I really like how all of my recommendations pop up on the Home Screen.

I love the 120hz refresh rate over anything and this tv surprised me for the price you can’t beat it. This tv made me like playing video games again for long period of time. Sound is always an issue on most modern TVs I’ve own and that’s the only negative I can say for this tv. Highly recommend

I overall really liked the tv - super bright, google os, quality build and great built in speakers. However it felt like it was missing some processing power for upscaling and refinement of cinema modes. I ended up buying a five year old Sony bravia 55x950G and swear movies look better. So that being said…. you cant beat the technology this packs for the price but I am not sure it replaces some of the newer Sony mid/high end models. I feel like its a component tv but lacks the R&D other brands offer (at a price) and out of the box calibration.
